Manama, capital of the island nation of Bahrain, is a major financial center with a thriving economy. A surplus of money has decorated the skyline with glass and steel spires, and plans for the tallest tower in the world. Although Bahrain is an Islamic country, alcohol is legal, and Manama has a thriving nightlife, with clubs and bars popular with visitors from all over the world. The narrow rows of stalls at the Bab el-Bahrain souk are famous for their vast array of perfumes, spices, and gold.

This was my second visit to the Grand Mosque in Bahrain. The volunteers made me feel welcome during both visits. They are extremely knowledgeable and able to discuss how the Quran relates to everyday life. We also had discussions of the teachings from the Quran and the Bible. It was very interesting to learn about the Arabic culture.

Quite well maintained historical fort. Don’t forget to visit the museum next to it. It is going to provide so many information about the history of the fort and also findings. There is no proper direction signs and explanations about the places. Make sure not to miss any part.

Visited here as part of a full day tour of Visit Bahrain and got really nice behind the scenes access to the Royal Tower, Race Control Center, Media Center as well as the finish line/pit lane. Recommend to visit here when in Bahrain, and since it’s usually part of the tours you can do it easily. Probably even better on race day...

It's a small but well arranged archeological museum. Exhibit is not massive, augmented with many photos Unluckily to me, one section "grave" was being closed, but Dilmun and other historical sections were open. Instead of joining a tour (as I couldn't find a convenient one) I took cab/uber and strolled as I like. There is a nice cafe inside with free WiFi. I took archeological tour the day before. Maybe the reverse order may work better. Museum first and see the barbar temple etc. if you have enough time.

The rides were amazing, especially the family ride. We were a group of 9 persons and thoroughly enjoyed the day. The locker place and the utilities were well managed which are major requirements for a good water park. The food was averagely priced and not very expensive. Choice of slush and beverages were up to the mark.
Over all a great experience but cannot compare this to some of the larger Water Parks in the region

Wahooo! The name says it all. Slide in and splash out at the Middle East's first ever indoor-outdoor Water Park with an area of 15,000 square-metres. It's guaranteed to be the ultimate water fest with a whole new world of thrilling rides and attractions including Master Blaster, Sidewinder, Matt Racer, a Multi Level Rain Fortress, Wave pool, Toddler pool and Lazy River. The Water Park is aimed at families and youth with a variety of rides provided for all ages.
Positives:
Wave pool.
Mini-restaurant inside the park.
Indoor temperature.
Areas of improvement:
Difficult to get there (difficult accessibility).
Too much overpriced.
Opportunistic for every thing to get over money ( selling clothes with triple prices which poor quality, parents must even they will not play same price, one time go in and go out and if you want to go in again you have you to pay again, clothes back box overpriced, some locker rooms facilities...etc).
Very poorly non-collaborative staff especially in the activities places.
Some activities are dangerous with non-safety preparation especially head trauma.
Incorporated toilets with locker dressing rooms, which makes it dirty.

Welcome to the Royal Camel Farm, Bahrain. This farm is open every day from sunrise to sunset, with free entry and free parking on-site as well as washroom facilities. Please note that the camels with chains are males, and the reason for using the chains is to prevent them from otherwise killing each other to mate with the females. They are thus spaced equally apart so that other male camels are outside their bite reach. Female camels can be seen inside the pens where they are free to roam.
Great to visit a the Once SHIP of the Desert, Nice to See these Camels are honoured to be kept in a great place. Once Upon a time, they were everything to the desert people. Take as many photographs you like, plus the Baby Camels

there are also round and octagonal shaped ones
different Quran translations to French, English, Chinese (Mandarin I guess) and even Hebrew!
worth a visit

The first authentic mall in Bahrain, Seef Mall continues to dominate the retail sector and is the heart and soul of Seef district with its distinctive architecture and atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy. Magic Island, the largest indoor amusement park in the Middle East is ideally located on the first floor and for guests from overseas the mall has self-serviced apartments managed by internationally renowned Fraser Suites with one an entrance located in the mall through the West Extension.
Hi Travellers, Seef mall is quite big mall with many well known brands, also have multiplex for movie. Here you find all type of ahopping except grocery i.e. hyper market.
