Man vergisst seinen Alltag dabei komplett.
Absolut empfehlenswert. :-)

Beautiful place for a picnic or cycling or just a walk and take photos. Amazing building and has been well looked after, Gardens are stunning and plenty of places to sit in the shade. I have been here in winter and summer and always impressed. Also a spot to buy ice cream or a beer after the walk.

This is one of the finest pieces of industrial heritage in the German Ruhr-area. The lift itself is the highlight. From the higher parts one gets a nice view over the environment. In additional buildings one can see Exhibitions with steam engines and about the history of the ship lift, and about a number of shipwrecks (not sure whether the latter is permanent). One can also visit a museum ship. There are buses coming here, but it's not the easiest place to reach by public transport.

A pleasant visit and walk in good weather. Lovely wooded areas surround. About 15 minutes drive from Werne.

We decided on our way to the North, to have a site seeing stopover in Münster, to show some beautiful place to our guests from China.
A walk from the railway station (unfortunately under construction) to the Dom through the old town was a very impressive and nice choice.
Unfortunately we didn't have too much time for showing more, enjoying more...

This is where Football-Germany celebrates its successful past of international football. The main focus here is on the national team’s glory, especially the recent victories of the men’s and the women’s team.
But there is also a section dedicated to the history of club football, national and international.
Very impressive is the trophy room, with replicas of the most important cups in the world. But the old items are well worth to give some attention, too. There are banners, advertising posters and even a jersey from the German Olympic team of the 1930’s.
The entrance fee is a bit pricy, but after the visit I found it well worth the money – if you are into football, that is.
Photography for private purposes is permitted, selfie-sticks are NOT allowed (Thank god!) and Go-Pro cameras are NOT allowed, too.

I was there with my children, many times. Few times for fun only and two times because of birthday parties. All that I can say that the staff there are very friendly and patient. Sometime, some guests are making problems but they are solving them quite calmly. Only downside is air-conditioning. Every indoor amusement park is having problem with this point, so this one is not an exception. When it rains outside, all the windows are closed but in any other way, it is ok.
