I recently took a refresher dive and then did another three dives with Dolphin Dive. Great fun, very professional and good equipment. Our guides were very knowledgable and were able to pick out some of the smaller interesting features of the reefs. The groups are kept small so that everyone, all abilities, gets to enjoy the experience.

Nicaragua’s 1st dive shop established over 15 years ago, and now has developed into a 5* PADI dive center not only taking people diving on the untouched reefs surrounding Little Corn island, but also teaching kids and adults to dive for fun, guide as dive masters and teach as instructors both diving and non diving activities. Our center is fully equipped with all new equipment including tanks, weights, belts, BCD’s, Regulators, masks, fins & snorkels as well as other training and safety equipment. We have 2 specially designed dive pangas taking maximum 10 – 12 people (max 6 fun divers per DM & 4 students per instructor) including staff keeping our training and certified divers separate as much as possible and the groups small and personal.
I took the diving day with my girlfriend because we have not any license. The instructors (Marian & Lulu) are friendly and they helped us for everything. I wanted to propose the engagement to my girlfriend during the diving and they (Alberto too) help me to prepare it and they taked a video camara to record this moment. Luckly, she said me yes!!
Moreover we saw a lot of fishes, sharks, lobtsters and more. I highly recommend to book your diving experiences with them.
Thanks for all!!

The seclusion of a beautiful garden close to the beach makes your yoga or massage session extra relaxing! Follow the blue and white signs that point the way to the Karma Shack! New this year will be individual customised wellness retreats, offered from May thru September. These retreats are meant for individuals, couples or small groups of friends, to unplug, detox, relax and find empowerment in self care. Silence or digital detox retreats are also available. Design your retreat to fit your needs and budget. Not-so-interested partners may enjoy a dive course, kite-boarding or fishing instead.
A very friendly and unassuming place to downward dog and much cheaper alternative to some of the other studios on the island.Thank you for joining me in the Karma Shack! Did we actually do a downward dog in our session? (sometimes I skip it on purpose:-))

Funk Yoga and SUP, Co. is located on Little Corn Island, Nicaragua and offers classes on both land and sea. Fueled by soul power, Funk is the creative project of Jacqueline Griffiths, David Hewitt, and Kurt Gomez offering classes, energy work, massage, and community outreach. "Make Yoga" right here on Little Corn Island at Funk and find your groove both on and off the mat.
The outdoor, second floor studio over looking the Caribbean Sea in the middle of the hub-bub of Little Corn Island is the most tranquil place I have ever practiced. The clean mats, fresh salty air, humming of local banter and experienced instructors make this 75 minute class a must do while visiting and is totally manageable for all levels. I found a sanctuary with in Funk and can't wait to practice with Jacq & Kelly again. For the three months that I spent on sabbatical I made "Yoga Everyday" part of my routine---both instructors took the time to help my practice and increase my strength and skills. Either the 9am or the 4pm are the best addition to island life.

If you've ever been fishing for Bonefish you know how illusive they can be. I don't know how our guide saw the school we were fishing into (I could not see them) but sure enough both of us were able to catch one! This was one of the most surreal and relaxing days I've had during my travels. There is nothing like fly fishing in the Caribbean with the sun on your back. Our guide made the experience 10x better than it would have been by ourselves.

We offe a great variety of tours. Such as day and night snorkeling tours for the complete beginner to the more experienced snorkeller. You may consider doing a tour that will offer other reef viewing options such as glass bottom boat... We can take you on a fishing trip, a fun booze cruise or a beautiful sunset tour.

Little Corn Fishing Charters has been sport fishing, deep sea fishing and fly fishing the turquoise Caribbean waters surrounding the Corn Islands in Nicaragua for over ten years. They offer a guide, fishing tours and charters for very reasonable prices (far less than Costa Rica, Rio San Juan or San Juan del Sur charters).Little Corn Fishing Charters can deliver!
My friend and I went to Little Corn especially for the fishing. Unfortunately, the wind blew 20-25 knots the whole 11 days we were there in late February and early March. However, we did go fishing four times. Here are some comments about the experiences:
1. Alfonso. Charged $150 for two (4 hours) after first asking for $100 each per hour per person. He was obviously knowledgeable about where to fish, but his equipment was very poor. He did not even have a knife to cut bait for bottom fishing. No life preservers, no water, no emergency signal except cell phone. Caught one 4 pound barracuda trolling and a number of bottom fish. Would not use again.
2.Elvis. Pretty much the same as Alfonso but he charged only $100. He had only two rods. One very large, heavy duty and one old spinning rod with a right hand retrieve for left handed people. Caught bottom fish. Several trolling strikes, no catches.
3. Captain Willy. Best equipment of all the native guides. Boat was a bit smaller at 19 ft boat had a nice padded seat which was really appreciated. Charged $100 for both of us for 4 hours. Again, a few trolling strikes, but no fish except when bottom fishing. I caught a 10 pound shark on my light spinning rod. We cooked one of the fillets and it was quite good.
4. Captain Chris. An American living on the island has a well equipped boat and is very experienced. Charges $150 for two for 4 hours. He has a 4 cycle (no fumes) outboard and excellent rods and bait. He only trolls. We trolled all the way around the island and caught one small King Mackerel. Again wind was strong and the seas 6-7 feet.
If you are a serious fisherman, you need to bring your own fishing equipment for all except Chris. You may want to bring a life preserver as well and a pad to sit on would be great. Plan on bringing clothes that can be wet as the boats are not very dry. If you take a tendency toward motion sickness bring some pills to prevent it. Fishing is supposed to be good for Dorado in late April and May. Weather may also be calmer.

$20 for a morning or afternoon trip out leaving at 09.00 or 13.00 to go across the reef to White Holes and snorkel with Giant Eagle Rays, Giant Southern stingrays and Nurse sharks.
We saw so much and had a great time. Take sunscreen as the sun can burn in minutes.
Also take water and beer for the trip back. Expertly driven boats and captains who really know their stuff. receive a discount from booking with casa iguana.
100% do this trip but other boats are available at the same price.
Really enjoyed our time there.
