Disc Golf involves throwing specially designed flying discs (like Frisbees)into a metal basket. The long course has 18 holes of approx 90m. The short course has 16 holes of approx 50m. Trees and bushes have been strategically planted to add to the challenge. Beginners are welcome, you can have a great time even if your your score is not so great! If we don't have customers waiting then we will be happy to get out of the shop and give you some pointers on technique. Ground conditions vary across the course and according to season and weather. Trainers are generally fine for the short course in summer; walking boots or wellies are generally a good idea if playing the long course in winter. At present facilities are very basic - a field shelter, an eco-toilet, and a pro-shop in a shipping container.
Was taken by a few mates a few years back for a round. I had no idea what I was going to be doing, got there wanged my first disk & knew it was going to be a laugh. Every year since when the nights...MoreThanks for the review Junior C. The bit about wet ground and footwear will be particularly pertinent for the next 6 months.

visited here yesterday woooow the view from the windmill was beautiful. 26th century windmill and you can see beautiful scenery for miles.
only issues we had was whilst dog walking there aren't proper foot paths and the roads are rather busy walking up steep hill to get to the windmill.
certainly worth the walk though

Nice walk by the river, and great if you are a Lawn Bowls fan (national and international competitions are held here). Tennis courts, skate part and decent play area. But still probably the least interesting of Leamington's parks.

Please come in and have a look around - its free and well worth a visit. The Visitor Information Centre offer advice and information to visitors to the area along with leaflets and timetables.
Royal Leamington Spa is a beautiful and prosperous town located in the heart of Warwickshire. It’s famous for its National Spa structure dating back to the 19th century. The Visitor Information Centre at the side of the Royal Pump Rooms, The Parade, is worth visiting to get up-to-date information and local knowledge about the area and the locality. The Royal Pump Rooms, opposite Jephson Gardens, on the High Street, are well worth visiting, housed in a modern style museum. The history of the place is very interesting, giving information on the Turkish baths. The museum depicts how the baths were restored to their former glory. Display cases contain old style equipment used to help patients with muscle wasting conditions. Posters on the walls show patients being lowered into the bath, hope showing in their eyes that all will be better soon. The stained glass windows in the treatment room have been restored to their former glory and give an authentic feel to the place. The Turkish Baths are well worth viewing.

This iconic church building at the heart of Royal Leamington Spa has served as a Christian place of worship since 1843, and Christian worship has been offered on this site for around a thousand years. We look forward to welcoming you into our friendly community which includes families, students, and professionals from around and beyond the town. Come and enjoy our Cafe Within, offering a selection of homemade cakes, pastries, soups and sandwiches. Our family Eucharist takes place at 10:30am every Sunday, accompanied by our robed choir. For more details please see our website.
Open for public, with arts showcase. Amazing to see a church using its space so effectively for the community - child play area, different corners eg prayer tree, lovely altar and outreach services for community. Felt like it was a very caring place and open to all needs.

Leamington Spa's Outstanding Live Theatre Company. The Loft Theatre Company has been producing live theatre in Leamington Spa since 1922. Professional standards are our goal as we work to bring variety and the very best in community-based theatre to Leamington Spa, to Warwickshire and to our wider audience beyond. The company has earned a strong reputation nationally for the professional quality of productions. It is run almost entirely by volunteers, many of whom have theatrical or academic drama qualifications and experience, who devote their talent, time and energy to the theatre simply because they find it fulfilling. Each year we produce around nine shows in the main 200 seat auditorium and a smaller number in the 50 seat Douglas Ford studio theatre. Our work covers the range of theatrical styles from classical to modern, tragedy to comedy, farce and musical theatre. Whether you like to be shocked, enlightened or simply entertained, you will find something for you here.
I've been going for thirty years. They have an excellent repertoire, covering classics, contemporary plays, light entertainment and comedy. They get the cream of local acting talent and sometimes do plays with large casts that the pros can't afford to do. The volunteer foh staff are really helpful and friendly.
The Theatre has good sight lines and is intimate. They were going to rebuild but the plug was pulled from the necessary grant aid when the government fell to Cameron/Osborne in 2010. Shame.
But it's one of the great cultural assets of the region.
I've just been to All My Sons, the Loft at its best, featuring very skilled professional standards, excellent ensemble and individual Performances.

There must be hundreds if not thousands of statues of Queen Victoria. In itself this is not - in my opinion - an outstanding example. However as it is outside the Town Hall in Royal Leamington Spa is warrants a mention.
I imagine that QV visited the town during her long reign, though whether to take to waters at the baths just a few hundred yards away I don't know.
For me, what makes this statue of interest is a small plaque on the side which reads "A German bomb moved this statue one inch on its plinth on the 14th. November 1940". I'm unable to tell whether is was subsequently moved back one inch. However, it is the date which is significant for me as it was on that very evening that my home City of Coventry, just a few miles away was devastated in what at that time was the worst air raid on a UK provincial town or city in World War II.
