Tanah Lot is one of the important directional temples in Bali. The temple is located on a rock just offshore. It is said to be the work of revered 15th century Hindu priest Nirartha and forms an important element of Balinese spirtualism and mythology.
To my opinion, Tanah Lot and Uluwatu temples are among best sceneries of Bali. Though there are some limitations to see inside the temples, I think one should respect these limitations and enjoy the rest. Before the entrance is there a good market especially for women to buy souvenirs.

We are a small horse riding stable where your safety and enjoyment are our first priority. A ride with us on one of our happy horses through the lush ricefields, black volcanic sand beach and sleepy traditional village will complete your Bali holiday Experience.
Lovely, healthy horse's, carefully chosen to suit our riding experience. Beautiful ride out along the road, then out across the rice fields too the beach...so much fun, with these gorgeous, well behaved horse's. Our ride back took us through the streets, such a lovely part of BALI. Waiting for us were nice cold towels and a delicious snack. Very highly recommended, Fran and her staff were lovely..we'll be back!!

We are a Balinese family running a traditional hostel in Canggu, 2 min away from Seseh beach. Our hostel is a temple-like structure with our own historical Hindu temple in the backyard. It's Bali Outdoor because being Outdoors is what we do. Surfing, sustainable fishing, organic farming, beach camping and touring are our main activities. We have a professional team of Surfing coaches teaching all levels, and providing all the Surfing and fishing equipment. We also organize Surfing competitions, beach parties, night camps and barbecue events. Staying with us means that you will be sharing life with our family. You will have full access to the facilities including the kitchen that has all the utensils, also local organic vegetables and rice picked from our farm. We have one King double bedroom with two Queen Size beds that's perfect for a group of 5 or a couple. Also one single room that can fit one or two people. We also have 5 tents fully equipped on Seseh Beach where you can sleep under Bali's night sky and enjoy fishing and BBQ. Pets and children friendly.

I was not sure what to expect from the retreat having never been to one in Bali before. I wanted a mixture of relaxation, meditation and creativity which is exactly what I found! Emma our host was warm and accommodating at all times and ensured we were all looked after. There was a balance of yoga, mediation, breathing practice, relaxation and creativity, with the fantastic mandala workshop and raw chocolate class. The staff and whole team were all super friendly. I would recommend to anyone wanting to get away from their busy lives to find some inner peace in beautiful Bali.

Pantai Peti Tenget ( peti tenget beach ) is a beautiful white sandy beach situated in north of Seminyak Beach. The white sand stretch 3 km from kuta Area has made it as a fascination for tourist to visit this place. Peti tenget Beach is favored by the great wave that is ideally for Surfing adventures and also a lot of horse ride tour here.
The Petitenget Beach is a public beach accessible by a pedestrian bridge across essentially a big gully. That bridge is 100 meters or so away from the Petitenget Temple that is now closed for restoration. Limited parking is available in a controlled access parking area. The beach in this area is wide and shallower into the ocean than other sections. It appears to be in a higher risk tsunami area if there's an earthquake. The crowds at the beach were small in early September were increasing significantly as I walked in a southerly. The surf in the less steep areas seemed more aggressive and many red flags were present which limited the areas where one could swim safely. The texture of the sand is very fine but with specks glistening brightly in the Sunshine. If I wanted to sunbathe on the beach instead of walking on the beach, the areas further to the north and south would be my preference. Beachside cafes and hotel restaurants are present up and down the beach. People are walking, swimming, boarding and shelling in a few small areas; you'll see some kiting too. Friendly, uncollared dogs are encountered too, sometimes with owners, with the ones I saw having collars. Don't worry, they're not bothersome.

When mankind wreaks havoc on nature and society, few good people collectively come to protect nature. Hence Bali Sea Turtle Society was formed with an objective to protect marine life and contribute towards saving the planet. The conservation site has thousands of baby turtles in a place along with eggs ready to hatch. Each turtle is marked for release in the sea, ofcourse leaving it on its own fate. Every evening turtles are released in the sea and tourists participate in the activity free of cost. They are given baby turtles in a container and all of these are released in one go. Cheering up the tiny creatures and seeing them take their first plunge in water is a priceless experience. Kudos to the Sea Turtle Society for the efforts they are making. They also educate people about the life cycle and biology of Turtles and how they influence marine life. The center is open all days from morning through evening, but the activity of releasing turtles takes place at 4 pm daily at Kuta Beach, close to the center.
