It's a bit of a trek from the road, but well worth a look. Inside is beautifully preserved, although not a particularly big place.
We did it as a tour with Kutaisi-Tripstation that also covered Prometheus Caves, Sataplia Caves, Gelati Monastery and Bagrati Cathedral. Definitely value for money and a great experience.

Unfortunately the outside is covered in scaffolding at the moment, but the real beauty is inside. It is a shame that there was no one to tell us anything about the place, but it was good just to take it all in visually.
We did it as a tour with Kutaisi-Tripstation that also covered Prometheus Caves, Sataplia Caves, Motsameta Monastery and Bagrati Cathedral. Definitely value for money and a great experience.

It is the biggest cave in Georgia. Only one tenth is open for tourist, still it takes an hour to explore. Only guided tour is permissable.
Cave is having breathtaking views of stalactites, stalagmites, petrified Waterfalls, underground rivers and lakes. Boat ride is possible depending on the weather (water level).

Natural monument in Georgia, located in the village of Gordi of Khoni municipality, in the vicinity of the river okatse. It is uniquely located in the unbelievably deep and narrow ravine. Okatse Canyon is truly amazing place with very beautiful nature and a kind of extreme views from the hight of a bird's flight. The path starts at the visitor centre, continues through the Kolkhan forest and finishes on the iron pathways, stairs and viewpoints built on the top of the canyon itself.

This place has been almost totally rebuilt over the years, which the signs in the grounds explain and show with photos. It could be argued that such extensive renovation has spoiled it and I can see why some would say that, because some parts of it look extremely out of place and out of character. I still think it is worth a visit though!

Very nice market with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese and spices to buy. Recommended to visit and talk to few of villagers if u speak some Russians or Georgian.

This is probably the most mad place I've ever seen. The place is an old lodge of Soviets in Georgia, so that the architecture is pretty typical for that. No one here speaks english, everything is in Georgian language and there are no informations, just be ready for that! Anyway, cableways!! incredible experience, absolutely crazy and unforgettable, one way costs 10 GEL, but the man downstair gave it to us as a gift, so i think they don't care much. The only problem was very strong wind and rain for what we couldn't have got down.

This Fountain is marvelous, because it points to the rich heritage of Colchis, the ancient name for east-Georgia. The figures that form the Fountain are originally made of gold, and can be found in the national museum in Tbilisi. They were of course a bit smaller.
