We walked up Karren to the Panoramic Restaurant. The walk is very steep in parts and it took us about 1hr15mins to reach the restaurant. They were very busy, so I'd recommend booking. Alternatively, the cable car will take you up and down (we only took it down for 5 euros each, not sure if there is a discount for a return ticket). The cable car operates late into the night taking back down the diners. The restaurant food was good, but not exceptional, but then you go there for the views. Highly recommend visiting Karren.

The Museum you can touch Nature, humans and technology. inatura museum in Dornbirn offers something for everyone, and does this in a particularly unusual way, because here touching is expressly encouraged. The main focus is on trying, playing, experiencing and understanding. The journey takes you through the different habitats that are characteristic of Vorarlberg: mountain, forest and water. In the final section of the museum, we go beyond the realms of possibility and in the truest sense of the word, go inside ourselves. inatura makes it possible to actually visit our bodies. Interactive and multimedia presentations demonstrate the exciting links between the life and interactive zones and provide an insight into the wonder of nature, people and their technical achievements. A fascinating experience. It is not surprising, therefore, that inatura is considered to be one of Europe's most modern natural history museums. In addition to our permanent exhibits, in the gallery in the entrance area we offer our visitors regularly-changing, interesting special exhibits on varying topics. Come on in and take a look. A visit to inatura always has something new to offer.
Note! This review is about the restaurant in Inatura, not the museum itself. My son (6) & I actually had a great time at the museum. However, things turned sour when we had a bite to eat at the restaurant. Dorbirn is right across the border from Switzerland. We live in Switzerland and assumed that as most good restaurants do, they take credit cards. We were wrong. I did not have enough Euros, so I had to pay in Swiss francs. The exchange rate they gave was absolutely THIEVERY!
Today's interbank rate CHF/EUR is 1.213. They charged 1.54
I had to pay CHF 11 extra.
I can understand some nominal inconvenience charge, but this was more like revenge. And furthermore, just 8 - 10 paces away is the ticket desk for the museum. THEY accept credit cards. The technology is already in the same room. What excuse can a modern-looking retail business in the year 2014 have for NOT taking credit cards?
Never again.

The finest Rolls-Royce Museum is open until April 1st. During April the Museum opens only the Weekends, before it opens Tuesday to Sunday from May onwards.
Great cars but the Organization, information and welcome are simply terrible. No information available in English, no audio guide, no sign posts for directions etc. The museum deserves much better staff and publicity. It could have 100 times more visitors if it was professional. A shame because the cars are priceless.

This was an amazing team event. Nice setup and great service. The secret "The Formula" was tricky and great fun. Received friendly hints, but not too many!

The Sankt Martin church is located in the Center of Dornbirn (down town). On the forecourt there is the life of Dornbirn in all the bars, cafes and Restaurants around this place. Be there at Wednesday and Saturday for the nice market or in the evening to have a drink.

Richtig gute Suppen, richtig gute Salate. Auch für Kindergeburtstage beliebt.

It wouldn’t be Wolfgang Flatz if one could simply walk into his museum like into any other. But one can enter the former Natural History Museum of Vorarlberg only after having ascended a work called “Book Stairs” and cleared heavy punching bags out of the way.
Случчайно оказались в музее, и не пожалели. Повезло с экспозицией, потому что судя по ретроспективе в интернете бывает по-разному. Получили прямо удовольствие от посещения.
