Baba Baidyanath Temple is one of the holiest places in India. The Shiva Temple is located few kilometers away from the Josidih Rly Station. The market is very big attached to Mandir. Try to offer Puja by yourself .

The place echoes stories and events of the Ramayana Era. The place has stories of Hanuman ji who was here for a brief time in Treta yug. There are places where Ravan stopped his Vimana and abducted Sita ji. The fight between Jatayu and Ravan happened here. There are 3 Mountains named after the Divine Trinity of Gods, Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. The Vishnu mountain is where all these events happened.
Apart from the , a good place to visit if you have time on your hand post visiting the temples. This has cable car to go up and down and cost 110 rs per person. A guide is must not just for giving information but from protecting you from monkeys. believe me, you will need him.

We visited the place late afternoon and enjoyed the serene ambiance of the site. Do not miss the museum behind the main building. After the morning hours, the place is closed during the noon time...reopens around 3:30 pm so schedule your visit accordingly.

The three peaks of the TRIKUT hill signify the holy Trinity of Brahma , Vishnu and Mahesh. Pilgrims visit this holy site all around the year. DRIL has built a cable car that takes passengers to the top of the hill offering a great view of the holy town of Deogarh. The steep climbing angle and lack of a road to the top of the hill presented a challenge to the construction.
The Trikut hill ropeway is one of the main attractions in Deoghar. One can climb the hill by foot, but the view from the ropeway is mind blowing, specially while climbing up, one giant rock formation with all its might welcomes the viewer. And the view down flows a chill down the spine.
But there’s only one problem. There are too many monkeys lurking at the travellers. You have a food item in your hand, and they would snatch it in no time.
