It's quieter, but it has the same splendour. You will get views of the Street to Syria, and Ephesos, still with columns, there is an old basilic, a theater for 8000 spectators, and nature gives it a special, imaginary flavour, which reminded us of... Narnia!

A small museum(only three halls) housed by an ancient stone building that used to be a roman bath. Not very much to see, only fragments of marble statues,a few sarcophagi, fragments of sone columns and a lot of other small artifacts. The entrance fee is 5TL(in adition to the site entry fee).

If you have some extra time visiting Pamukkale try to also visit Karahayit. It is about 6km from Pamukkale and 26km from Denizli and easily reached by mini busses that runs frequently. There is one long main road and just get out at the final stop and walk about 5 minutes to the thermal Springs. It is situated in a park and very nice and peaceful to visit. You can walk around in the pools or just sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The main road is full of interesting shops and many places to eat or just have a cup of tea. The people are friendly and it is really a pleasant experience to visit this small town.

Calcium deposits over thousands of years have made a wonder of nature and a glorious landscape.
The mineral rich thermal waters are both cool and warm in various parts.
Park rangers will ensure you take off your shoes as to do minimum damage to this geological marvel.
There are great views over the Nature Park below.

Pammukale is underrated. Hieropolis is not a minor roman site. It is far better than Pergamon, and I enjoyed it much more than Efesis. Fewer visitors are in the ancient city. They stay on the white areas. Best amphetheatre I've seen. Necropolis was outstanding. Walk anywhere, go anywhere.

4 km walk going up to the entrance. Once you are there, you will see cave with a lot of minerals but too short explorations. You will view the place even for 15 minutes. 3 lira entrance and I am only the visitor. Though the receptionist can't speak English, he is extremely helpful to call the someone to give me a free lift to the village. Going there from the city is very easy, 8 lira from city to Acipayam then take another dolmus to the bottom of the mountain, 3 lira and walk up 4 km to see the cave. Great walk and experience but not much spectacular compared to the caves I have seen in SE Asia.

The road is very long and bad. But if you go in the summer it will worth it.
It is 500meters higher than Denizli and have a waterfall which you can touch or go inside :)
Mainly people eats meat balls and fish in here.

Visited this mall, food court, cinema and the ordinary mall shops...nothing special. Best thing I can say is parking is available. There is an area for kids with some fun things for them otherwise skip it.
