Parque Cervantes is an 'adequate' park, ... but nothing impressive, though there are iguanas & squirrels. The Fountain seems to be used only on occasion. There is plenty of Seating and a good number of shade trees and the square is surrounded by lots of nice stores & restaurants.

This was really the only 'historical' attraction I could find in David. We flew into David to pick up our rental car for touring around the area (from the Pacific coast to the highlands). And, while the area is beautiful and the food was very good, there really wasn't much in the town of David except for this Cathedral. And, the tower was closed so we could only walk around the plaza. Overall, not worthwhile.

We offer a variety of fishing charters and other water adventures in the Gulf of Chiriqui, Panama. We offer day trips for fishing, kayaking, whale and dolphin watching and trips to remote Beaches, but we specialize in 4-6 day fishing expeditions to the remote Islands in this area, including the world famous Hannibal Bank.
If you are interested in minimizing boat travel time and catching more fish. The Pesca Panama Charter Service is for you. The floating lodge moves daily and anchors in a predetermined locations whereas the charter fishing boats leave early in the morning and return in the late afternoon. The lodge is equipment with sleeping accommodations, full bath/shower and dining area. There is a full bar and the food is delicious and plentiful. The captains and first mate are extremely knowledgeable, hardworking and constantly doing what is necessary to put you on active fish. I highly recommend booking a trip with Pesca Panama. I've fished with them three times in the last two years and cant wait to get back this May.

We offer personalized small group tours around Chiriqui province, including Boquete, Cerro Punta, Boca Chica and Machomonte to attractions and activities including: hot Springs, coffee farming, whale watching, cigar making, wildlife viewing, horseback riding and much more.
This was our first trip to Panama and Moty made it memorable. We spent an entire day traveling the back roads of Chiriqui province, visiting Cerro Punta, where the local Panamanians and Native Indians grow produce, to the manicured expat community of Boquete. Visited a Cigar factory which produced the best cigar ever tasted, and Arte Cruz's wood sculpture shop which words can not describe his master craftmanship. Moty knows Panama and it's people. Our trip to David was made special thanks to Moty.

Our operation is on the Island of Boca Brava with a breath taking 360-degree view of some of the most prolific fishing grounds in the world. The club has all modern benefits and the boats are well maintained for fast and reliable travel to the rich fishing grounds. Fishing or diving can provide whatever the desires from gigantic Black or Blue Marlin to Tuna, Dorado, Roosterfish, Wahoo, Cubera.
I've been fishing for over 50 years. Canada, the great lakes, outer banks of North Carolina, Gold Coast of Florida, The Florida Keys, The Gulf coast of Florida, Mexico, Barbados, Belize, Costa Rica and Panama. These guides were some of the best guides I've ever fished with. I went for a full day and also a 1/2 day and they had me on fish almost the whole time. These guys are GOOD! Can't wait to wet a line with them again! 2 Thumbs Waaay Up!

The library opened its doors in February 2012 as the first lending library in Panama. The modern 3 story stone and glass building is a distinguished addition to the Boquete landscape. Free wi-fi and computers with internet are available, while the 3rd floor art gallery features monthly displays from local artists. Check the online calendar for Concerts and activities. Open Mon-Sat 10am-7pm
Remarkable building for such a small town. Square blocks with glass walls around an open staircase with a glass pyramid shaped roof. Quite modern, however there is a traditional tiled cover over the lobby area. Free internet and there is a small café inside.

Come and enjoy a spectacular ride to Boca Brava Island located in the gulf of Chiriqui, Republic of Panama. Unbeatable views of the Baru Volcano, blue waters and will dolphins, lush Mountains, excellent cuisine, attentive and personalized service.
Loved the dolphins along the boat. The sights are great and relaxing. Food and service once you get to the beach was very good. Lots to do for a nice afternoon. On our way back the sunset just amasing.
I definitly will try the full moon tours.

Where to start? I fished with Captain Jason Coffrin when he was first down in Costa Rica. My friends and I were excited to be fishing in Costa for a few days. He was recommended to us by some guides in Sarasota, FL. They told us he was knowledgeable on all the different ways to fish. Dead bait, jigs and even fly fishing. He was able to determine which was best for us so that we would get our moneys worth.
We met him on his boat, which was nestled amongst the other vessels in a small cove. We got underway and immediately he put us on mahi. The biggest I have ever caught. After our fun with mahi, we went to sailfish and marlin. Raised several sailfish and missed one of the biggest marlins ever. His mouth was as big as a bucket.
The second day we tried our luck with rooster fish. What a day. Rooster were everywhere. It's like he knew exactly where they would be.
The third day he took us diving with the wives/girlfriends. The girls where happy since there was plenty of space and shade on the boat. He was first class with them all the way. Went out of his way to make sure they were happy and comfortable.
Now that he is in David, Panama, I have already booked my trip with him since I know he will put me and everyone on fish. This guy lives and breathes fishing.
