SESC is a great option for leisure and culture. Aside from the excelente plant (or building) instalations, people there are good for helping you. And they provide regular atractions, mainly at week-ends, with singers or combos, theatre events, workshops for children and so on. One needs to be na employee at comerce shops (or be a relative of one that is) to be accept to make use of SESC's attractions. Good option.

It is a really interesting park in the city of Bauru, São Paulo, Brazil and it is easy to access by public transportation. There are several botanical species found in different regions of the Brazilian territory distributed along the park. It is a perfect place to go for a walk, or Reading a book under the trees, or just to relax, enjoying the peace. There are a beautiful orchid collection and an interesting bryophytes collection. And I simply enjoyed the medicinal/aromatic plant garden, I would like to bring most of those plants to my home ;-)!

Bauru Zoo is a good place to take children to learn about animal life (including birds and reptiles and others). I used to take granddaughter there mainly in week-ends. One of the good atractions kids like is the Penguins. It's a good option for leisure. Take your time and enjoy it.

Not everything is opened but you can find something to eat or drink and it's a safe and clean place, however it is outside the city you can get there easily by car.

This Japanese Church has a magnificente building that makes a great view. Inside it's a place where one can feel a peaceful air and pray with joy. Only thing is the lack of timetable afixed to the gate so that one can arrive and cannot make a visit because that day or at least that time, it is not open for visitation. Pay it a visit.

Some times you can return to the past (by the time you were just a kid and travelled from Bauru, SP to Campinas, SP by train. DeLuxe train from Cia Paulista de Estradas de Ferro was quite marvellous for a kid. So I took my grandchild to visit the Museum and learn some atractive things from na Era that was killed by progress and politics. And she also could take the opportunity and enjoy a short ride in an oldfashioned train for tourists (just the steam engine and one passengers car). Quite a Time Tunnel for adults and a diversion and fun for children (Note: We visited it in 2014 but thare was not the option to select)

The theater is the main place in town for Performances but doesn't have air conditioned out the stage, nor an accessible entrance in main stage entrance.

O teatro Véritas não é muito grande, e tem padrão médio. Serve bem para espetáculos e shows que não demandam grandes produções. Tem boa acústica e instalações adequadas.
