Where to start.. Staff is brilliant, service is excellent, food is marvellous. The sommelier knows his business and happily explains everything you'd like to know about wines. Staff is friendly and finds exactly the right approach for all their customers: never overdone, exactly right. We had the chef's choice three course. Don't bother counting courses, just sit and be amazed by the dishes. There'll be amuses, tasters and side dishes, each with a new and brilliant combination of tastes: never overdone, exactly right. Obviously with the chef's choice meals the sommelier's choice of wines is recommended. I mentioned the sommelier earlier. His choice for the combination of food and wine was .. well .. perfect? excellent? all of those I'd say.

While biking we stopped at this fine cafe for lunch. I had the club Sandwich which was very large and the ample ingredients came wrapped in a large white bread wrap--a little unusual but very good. My wife had the special of the day, a beef dish. Both meals were very well-prepared and abundant. We shared an applecart for dessert and while it was good, we have had better in the Netherlands. This apple tart seemed like it might have come from Albert Heijn. Service was very good out on the Terrace.

you have alreday many other hotels/restaurants of this Dutch chain, but thsi oen is noty listed it seems
What a great hotel. Big rooms and bathroom. Clean. Huge breakfast buffet filled with such yummy food and so much variety. They also have a pool and a gym which I didn't use this time unfortunately. Service is good. You can check in early but will be charged about 20 Euro extra. Only drawback is there is no shops around it within walking distance. I would love to stay here again..

We had received a voucher from my mother to have a romantic diner here. We had to hang our coats ourselves, were dumped at a very tiny table. When the waitress finally returned we informed her that both of us could not eat porc or anything from a pig due to health problems. She concluded that we would have the tomato soup, which was pig free according to her. It was served and smelled of bacon, so I asked her if she could check with the chef. "Yes, he has fished the bacon out, so now it is porc free". We refused to eat it. She took away the plates and yelled at the chef "Next items can come through". No soup or starters thus... The vegetables had bacon on as well, the potatoes as well. That is when I asked for the bill. She was astonished. And when I took out our voucher she was in a complete state of fury. Why? We do not know. But the soup was on the tab as well as the vegetables and potatoes. That did it. We asked for a word with the proprietress, who backed her waitress. The voucher was not even enough, we had to add money! We had to dig out our coats from under a pile of heavily perfumed other coats and then RAN out!

I am not normally a fan of buffets, but this is different. Classy atmosphere, and a choice between "normal" chinese self-service buffet and a "make your own wok" concept where you pick raw ingredients from a bar and take it up to the grill to have it woked by the chef, with a sauce and spice level of your choosing. Both bars as well as salads and desserts etc are included in the single "all you can eat" price, which is about €21 pp in the evening.
Even the pre-prepared choices were fresh and appetising and of course the wok is literally fresh hot from the wok. Good value!

We went to dinner in this fine place. The spacious Terrace was sunny and the Kriek Boon cherry beer on tap was very refreshing.
The starters - pumpkin soup and mushroom croquettes - were really extraordinary. The mains - haloumi skewers with vegetables and portobello mushroom burger with blue cheese were also excellent.
To top it all, the service was very friendly and helpful.
A great dining experience!

Wether it is just for a drink or a complete meal, if in Zevenaar, you have to stop at the Revolution. The atmosphere is so special 'Cuban'. It is not like any ordinairy restaurant. The Seating area's are all in different styles. Special design furniture amongst the plain tables and chairs. The staff is very pleasant and the food outstanding. Try one of there special coffees. Remember, Tuesday is tapas day.

Not open when we got there even though the app says it is. Looks like a very nice place on the outside and the address and direction there were good.
