The food at El Rincon de Antonio is refined and well presented, the restaurant is sleek and stylish, and the service could not be faulted. The wine list was excellent.
This is a restaurant for those who seek fine dining and not for those seeking hearty local food, freshly sourced.
It is hard to fault this restaurant for what is sets out to achieve, as the chef is clearly skilled and the ambiance refined, but the meal was not memorable for us.

The Casa Mariano is a smashing warm and comfortable restaurant - interesting interior fittings and furniture plus a magnificent open bread / pizza oven in which joints of succulent meat are cooked - the welcome was warm and service very attentive.
The food was absolutely excellent as was the local wine - we enjoyed a fabbulous meal for not a lot of money.
Highly recommended !

We visited this place for drinks one day - quite expensive but friendly service so we returned the next day for some wine and bar food. We noticed that we got smaller pours than the locals who were enjoying themselves and becoming quite rowdy. The last straw was the quality of food we were given, it was nothing but dried up left overs. If you want a good meal at affordable prices, don't come here, try Agape next door, but go early as it fills up very quickly.

We called in for a late evening drink and 'tapa' and were served high quality wines - the rosé was fabulous - and the tapas innovative, beautifully presented and delicious. The bill was very low so we returned for lunch the next day and had the 13,50€ menu. It was excellent throughout. Again, very tasty, well presented and amazing value. We recommend it highly.

Stopped here today for lunch, had the weekend menu of the day. Superb, a mixture of starters to share then a delicious entrecote, local meat "Aliste", followed by a mixture of desserts to share. Included a bottle of excellent toro wine, only house wine but very good, water and coffee. Great meal for only 25€ per head. Will definitely recommend and return one day. Service exceptional too.

Placed in the heart of Zamora, right in the historical area, Restaurante Agape offers a whole different variety of culinary proposals. Both at the Bar and Restaurant areas you will find a great range of 'tapas', pizzas and pasta cooked following the traditional Italian cuisine style, beside a selection of the best meat in the region. Restaurante Agape is also a meeting point for wine lovers. It counts on a wide wine selection including lots of DO's (Designation of Origin) from our region and other ones -also foreign- which combine tradition and quality. The design, ambiance and musical selection of the place offer a cultural voyage ideal for delighting your senses.
The chairs looked more comfortable here than in the neighbouring bar restaurants and had a bit of shade ,so on a very hot day, we chose this one. The jamon was good , the beer cold and the square lovely although relatively quiet. Perfectly adequate...MoreThank you for your visit and your evaluation! We will be happy to welcome you again.

This was just off the main Plaza Mayor and was just opening for the evening around 7.00pm. All the tapas is cooked fresh to order on a small hot plate sprinkled with oil - great selection and fresh as a daisy! Good local red wine and, best of all, a great rock-focussed sound track on the Bose system ranging from the Clash to Clapton, Lou Reed and everything in between. So much nicer being in a tapas bar with music instead of the ubiquitous two TV's trying to out-compete each other on two separate channels. We were the only 2 non-Spanish in the place and left well fed, well rested and well drunk!

I have to say that we weren't really in the mood to be impressed due to some confusion regarding Seating when we first got there. The woman that runs the kitchen was really nice though and immediately gained our confidence once we were seated. We ordered everything she recommended and it was all great. We never even looked at the menu. The seared tuna was just perfect... maybe the best I've ever had. The sauted onions that came with it were also just incredible.

Being vegetarian in Spain can be challenging. This place is a godsend. it seems to be packed all the time. thats because it has the most delicious tapas I have had in a long time. you can opt for tapa for about 1.50€ or racion for about 4€. Try the fried aubergine with salmorejo, the boletus mushroom croquettes and the grilled courgette with guacamole. outstanding!! My friend had tuna tartar which she said was amazing. yum yum
