I always liked this place, it is in city centre though it is not crowded. Food is excellent, wide variety of dishes. Service was also very good. And all for a realistic price.

I was there with my family and we hoped that as all the other restaurant is quite simple and boring in Zalaegerszeg, this will be a bit extra, more special dishes. Overall what my family selected was absolutely ok, they liked all the dishes. From my side, that was a bad experience, as I have asked what kind of glutenfree food they can prepare. I've selected finally a grilled salmon with vegetables - as was confirmed it is fully ok. But what I got? A salmon with full of wheat flour :( I could not understand at all why has to have a grilled salmon any flour...independently of my gluten allergy. The waiter was helpful, he said he told the chef glutenfree..of course they wanted to prepare a new dish but as we already wait too long for the main dish, I didn't want to stay further and left the restaurant hungry..

Visiting friends in a small town can sometimes results in a hit and miss affair when it comes to restaurants. However, this is not the case in Zalaegerszeg. Kiskondas served beautiful food accompanied with an incredibly fabulous house red. Vert nice atmosphere. They made everyone feel welcome. They also served a nice pear Parlinka. Definitely worth visiting if you are passing through or near Zalaegerszeg, Hungary.

Hangulatos belső kandallóval, finom ételek, korrekt kiszolgálás. / It has a nice atmosphere with a fireplace and a garden (which may be nice in the summer). Good, Hungarian style (area specific)-food at correct prices. Service is good with polite waiters.

Egyszer voltunk itt,de elég is volt a leves íztelen volt a prósza el volt égetve,a kiszolgálással sem voltunk megelégedve.És amit a férjem választani akartunk ételt az pont elfogyott!

We were returning from our vacation and stopped here to try out local cuisine. Luckily one of the staff speaks english, because it was hard at first to explain we needed table for 10 people. There is no AC inside and apart from communication problems and maybe some attitude from english speaking waiter everything else was great. Food was delicious, portions were enormous and check was more than reasonable. There are some vegetarian options here and as we had one of the vegetarian among us, she sad it wasn't the worst meal she had, but still it is not enough to recommend this place for vegetarian meal. We can recommend this place to all carnivores though, especially from the menu the wooden plate for two.

I heard many, many great things about Pizza Mamma and their awesome dishes and gave them a try with my working colleague.
After we entered the restaurant, a waitress led us on our table and took our order for drinks first and brought us the menu. Unfortunately, we needed to wait a bit for our beer but on a number of guests, it was understandable.
We both ordered first a salad and I really liked my tuna salad. The leafs and the veggies were fresh and tasty and the tuna not too oily. Just only a few minutes after we finished our starter, they served my pizza and the pizza doesn't only looked awesome and was almost the best pizza I every eat!
The pizza base was thin and crispy and not burned (like it is in most of the restaurants...) and the tomato sauce had a fresh and natural taste. I expect some more slices of salami and ham on the pizza but in the end, I was quite satisfied with the portion from the main dish and the starter as well and really liked the fresh and tasty ingredients they used.
Next to the nice food they had a great service too. The waitress didn't come too often but often enough to ask if we need something. The whole atmosphere was good and the price level based on the quality TOP!!!!!
I will eat there in the upcoming days again :)

I dropped in here to have a quick lunck during a business trip.
Well, the goulash soup was average a little salty.
My chicken breast with cheese was kind of interesting. The cheese on it was really bad, the meat was OK.
I had to eat my pre-packed Sandwich (self-made!) after this lunch because I had such a bad taste in my mouth....
I wish I had dropped in a McDonald's instead...
