I wasn't fussy for my meal. I got a combination plate and it was so soupy and runny. My food was swimming in sweet and sour sauce. If I had of known they were going to put so much I would have asked to have it on the side.
It was a huge portion but I wasted most of it because it all got soggy. The eggroll was fantastic. I am not sure if they have new owners, but seems as though it has changed somewhere.

For many years I have been travelling to Yarmouth on business and I’ve seen many restaurants come and go with the exception of Rudders which has stayed and consistently served good local cuisine. While its not as authentic as Ed’s dinner in Digby, it does an excellent job of bridging the gap between local style dining and regional cuisine. It’s a fun place, lively music and an active bar scene upstairs, the food is good and the portions are generous. The food can best be described as pub fare with an Atlantic twist, you will not be disappointed with the menu, and the service is friendly!

Specializing in sandwiches, soups, bread and pastries. All made fresh every day. Fair trade organic coffee roasted on site.
Nice little deli which we came across quite by accident.
Food was all freshly prepared and the staff are friendly. They were working flat out as it was a bit busy.
Reasonable prices and worth stopping off for a bite to eat and a drink.
They only serve Americano coffees here, so I opted for peppermint tea. It was exceptional as the bags are homemade.
Nice little find.

Enjoy the excellent cuisine at the Gales' Eatery Restaurant. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the menu boasts many seafood delights fresh from the waters surrounding Yarmouth.
I wouldn't rush out to dine here, nor would I choose this for a romantic dinner. It's good food in a convenient package during your hotel stay. Service is very good, fast and friendly! When my number one priority is work and I need to...MoreHello Charlie B, Thank you so much for your review. I have been here frequently for Takeout but with family visiting decided to eat in. The waitress was friendly and took the time to explain some of the dishes.
It is a Canadian Chinese food restaurant with all the usuals which came quickly, fresh and hot. The vegetables were not overcooked which was nice and the rice cooked just right.
One in our group had 18A which was lobster, scallops and shrimp with vegetables over white rice. There was plenty of seafood in including large pieces of lobster. A selection I will make next time I visit.

We stopped in for dinner and my wife had the roast beef with gravy and potatoes, she said it was ok. I had a clubhouse and it was very good. We both had desserts, my wife had chocolate pie and I had peanut butter. They were excellent, home made with love and care. Our waitress was very pleasant and provided great service.

Joanne's Quick-N-Tasty is the successor to Harris' Quick-N-Tasty which was an institution for over 50 years in the seaside town of Yarmouth. In the same building with virtually the same menu, Joanne's is turning out some of the best seafood in Nova Scotia. The fish cakes are simply the best you will find anywhere. You get two huge cakes and a salad for less than $8.00.
The place is also famous for lobster done every way possible including the legendary hot lobster Sandwich. Check your gall bladder at the door if your order it, but it's worth every cent of the $22.00 price.
Except for the hot lobster everything else on the menu is priced well below what you will find in comparable establishments. The desserts are amazing. On a recent visit they were offering seven different desserts based on the local wild blueberry crop just coming into season.
A little ways outside Yarmouth on the way to the Annapolis Valley this place is worth driving a little extra distance for. Great service from Joanne and her son Noah.

Spent an hour looking for this place and then we discovered it has ceased trading a couple of months ago.Sorry to read that you spent an hour looking for our location; we have moved to the Yarmouth Farmers Market which only operates on Saturdays year round and Wednesdays during the summer months

Come share your experience with us today in our warm and comfortable atmosphere. Specializing in pasta and fresh seafood, featuring homemade specialty desserts. Licensed; Take-Out available
Delicious food, excellent service. I had the scallop linguine (in a red sauce) and my sister had the mixed Seafood Linguine (lobster, scallops and haddock in a cream sauce). Both dishes were absolutely wonderful. Very generous portions. Also had a Spinach salad with their homemade poppyseed dressing. Really, really good. Mathew from the Lakelawn Inn recommended we go there for dinner. A perfect location as it is a one minute walk away.
