Yangshuo offers breathtakingly beautiful scenery, particularly along the hill-lined Li River, which you can tour by cruise boat or, if you’re feeling primitive, by bamboo raft. Streets in Yangshuo are kept in their original style, preserving the layout of the ancient city. Savory local specialties like beer fish and shatian shaddocks are served on West Street, one of the town's liveliest thoroughfares. Kids will adore the local butterfly cave.

Overlooking spectacular Moon Hill, Luna is the rooftop restaurant at Yangshuo Village Inn and is the only authentic Italian restaurant in Yangshuo. Our kitchen team was trained by an Italian chef and we serve great traditional favorites. We also have an excellent wine selection as well as some local Chinese dishes. Buono appetito!
A range of good dishes other than pizza or pasta. Food very fresh and satisfying. Real and unadulterated food. Whoopee! Loved the rooftop Terrace overlooking moon hill.Thank you once again, Juliet! Many guests come for pizza but as you kindly pointed out, we have fresh salads as well as some lovely Chinese dishes. All our very best to you and come back soon! Safe travels, Gloria

This restaurant runs cooking classes also.
We have been taken to this restaurant by our tour guide as part of our tour in Guilin and Yangshuo. The lunch was nice with tasty food. We had some typical Chinese dishes and they all tasted good. Service was average. A good choice for a quick lunch.

Loved this veggie restaurant, just off West Street. The standard of food was high and the menu had lots of options. Particularly loved the Lion Head Balls (think that's what they were called, like veggie meatballs!) and the Eggplant claypot. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, and a good price.

The Alley is a cozy restaurant in a pedestrian zone right in the centre of Yangshuo. The grilled tenderloin, home made tagliatelle or the grilled chicken breast with basil pesto are excellent, the beer list holds german and belgian beers but also the affordable chinese option and on weekends you can watch live football.
Seriously everything here was great from the salad to the pizza and everything else we ordered. After being in China for 3 weeks, I really needed to have something more familiar and this was perfect. I highly recommend having lunch or dinner here.

Food portions were quite small. Menu is a mix of western and Chinese dishes. My expectations was high after Reading the other reviews so I was a bit disappointed. This is a very average restaurant in Yangshuo. The location of this place is perfect.

This is the best place to enjoy Indian food in Yangshuo. Friendly service and very nice ambience. Food is top-rate; the prices are quite reasonable. Our favourite dishes are the Lamb Biryani and the Aloo Tandoori. And the Beer selection is good too, incl. a couple of Belgian ales.

Came here for dinner after a day of cycling and hiking. Ordered a feast, four dishes and two large beers and it all came to under 80! Dumplings were great, and so was the broccoli and steamed buns. Guilin style noodles were not quite what we thought from the picture but were still tasty enough. Overall good, fresh food at a fraction of what you will pay elsewhere.

Mood Foods is one of the best spots in town. They offer flavors from all over (western, Asian fusion, Mexican--all the most crave-able cuisines) in healthy, wholesome versions. Some of my favorites are the Mexican bean burrito, beet & walnut salad & Indian daal. And don't miss out on their homemade kombucha! Being a vegetarian in China can be challenging but Mood Foods makes it easy.
The atmosphere is great. There are traditional tables, but I always opt for the elevated lounge. Kick off your shoes and cozy up on their low, wrap-around couch. If you're lucky, the cat will even snuggle up beside you. Bring a book & enjoy a bottle of kombucha. The owners, Daniel and Yanzi, are super nice and lovely to talk to.
I live in Yangshuo, so I also go here once or twice a week for their tourmaline sauna (amazing! You can stay in for hours). They provide lots of other whole-health based services like massage, yoga classes, qi gong and more. Definitely check it out if you're in town!

A delightful dining experience in renovated Qing dynasty buildings and lush Gardens. A wide selection of international and Chinese dishes, with a variety of vegetarian options and imported wines and beers.
Whilst visiting the (massively overrated) historical village of Jiuxian, we chose this place for food as I had seen it on here as it was somewhere we had thought about staying before ending up in another hotel. The setting is pretty cool, walled off in old courtyards and they have done a great job with the space. As for the food, it was excellent, with the stuffed snails and fried aubergines standing out in particular. One of our party had some Western food and was also very pleased!
