For the past 25 years our family run business has been providing you with the most hospitable & quality dining experience. The winning recipe for this attainment is surely our passion and enthusiasm towards the catering industry. We look forward to translating our proficiency by further providing you with quality dining in our new venture at Tmun Mgarr.
One of my favorite restaurants. It is a quaint restaurant nestled in Mgarr Harbour. In fact, many visitors to Gozo get off the ferry from Malta and the restaurant is their first stop to get some dinner. I’ve eaten there probably about eight times, several of which I’ve brought my family, so I’ve sampled much off the food and all of it has been delicious. I recommend being seated outside because the view of the Harbour is spectacular. If you decide to go, you must make a reservation, as it is a popular restaurant - not just with tourists, but with the Maltese, as well. Parking can be a little tricky so give yourself an extra 15 minutes. I promise it will not disappoint. They have a sister restaurant in Rabat, Gozo called The Patrick. It also serves exceptional food, but is a more romantic choice.

The story of Ta’ Frenc as we know it today is the story of two very young men, Ino Attard and Lino Cefai, who, more than 30 years ago, recognised in the crumbling limestone walls of this centuries-old farmhouse, a possibility, a dream, a promise, a renaissance. Literally stone by stone, step by step archway by archway, they restored the building without destroying its soul. Original features such as the animal mangers were retained and these are now a feature of the bar area. The high-ceilinged airy interior is divided into different areas by archways and screens. Mature trees were retained, and others planted. And thus they created Auberge Ta’ Frenc, which opened its doors to the public on 22 May 1982. Checked red and white tablecloths, rustic French-style furniture and a classic French menu greeted their first guests, many of whom remain faithful customers today, of the internationally renowned restaurant now known simply as Ta’ Frenc Restaurant. Despite its name and pronunciation, Ta’ Frenc has nothing to do with France. It means Francis’ place; Francis was the farmer who owned the building.
The food was ok but greatly overpriced. The setting was old fashioned chique with lots of napkins and half broken plants and a staff hesitating between indifference and fake friendliness. Recommended on their own website as an experience never to be forgotten... true, but unfortunately for the wrong reasons.

Visited last Saturday with my family. We enjoyed our evening in a warm atmosphere with, as usual, outstanding cuisine. Patrick's is one of our favorite restaurants to visit, always offering a nice ambiance, great service and a top class wine range. If you're planning on going on a Saturday evening, I suggest booking in advance to have indoor Seating. We booked late and were seated in the outdoor garden area which had a canopy and was heated. This area is a designated smoking area for diners, however our dinner was still enjoyable and we almost preferred the quiet and private Seating. Our choice of dishes for starters were Risotto, Fried Brie pillow, Salt and Pepper Squid and Chicken liver parfait. For main courses we chose Duck Breast which was fantastic, tasty and very tender, Fillet of beef and Tomahawk for two. For dessert we had the lemon tart, creme brule, apple tart and the special of the day, the bread and butter pudding. Well done Patrick as always! To enjoy a real steakhouse, don't miss out on this restaurant. They know how to get top quality meat cuts and know the secrets of cooking them to perfection!

We spent wonderful four days in Xaghra and Oleander was our favorite restaurant. It had a good menu offering daily specials featuring local fare to delight any foodie. Outdoor dining at night in this beautiful plaza was unforgettable. Don't forget to visit the Cathedral, the inside is not to be missed.

Happy to have visited this new Chinese restaurant in Xaghra. Found the cuisine to be fresh, flavourful with delicious steaming hot and flaky rice. Excellent attentive service and pleasant decor. They offer take out and, if order is over €60 will deliver. Closed Wednesday’s.

Situated in the heart of Xaghra square, right beneath the impressive church walls, DVenue restaurant is a new modern establishment with a touch of a rustic feel. One can enjoy the lively square, while dining in the upper Terrace or simply sip a cocktail in the lounge. Literally, DVenue....
We visited this restaurant while on a Christmas holiday. Our first choice was fully booked. From our arrival right through to us leaving was first rate.. The menu was good and the quality of food was excellent. This would certainly be our first choice now.
Highly recommend.

Country Terrace is a little cottage transformed into a restaurant with indescribable panoramic views and extraordinary cuisine. Our restaurant has become the only place in Gozo which offers such a savouring view of the Mgarr Harbor, Fort Chambrey and the three sister Islands, Kemmuna, Kemmunett and Malta When it comes to wedding events, we pit all our efforts into creating a personalized reception. Our facilities and services can be tailored to the style that best represents you and complements your wines and dreams.
This is my absolute favourite restaurant in Gozo. Impeccable service, amazing food, great location and atmosphere.. what more can you ask for?? If you are lucky to visit when the weather is good enough, the view outside is unparalleled. If not, the restaurant inside is cosy and gorgeous just the same.
