We tried a few places over several days in and around Yaremche and this place was, by a long way, the best place in terms of food quality and atmosphere. The fish in particular (trout, carp, mackerel - grilled or fried) was pretty good value by Ukrainian standards. I had an outstanding creation consisting of a chicken fillet covered in a deruny mixture, lightly fried and topped with a chanterelle sauce. Good selection of wines and other drinks. I recommend booking as it gets busy in the evening at least in season. Oh - and a I really appreciated them safe-keeping my wallet when I accidentally left it in the restaurant. They called to let me know that they had it.

The restaurant is located nearby the waterfall and the only one. So no big concurrency. It's propably the oldest restaurant in the region. Try the traditional Carpathian or Ukrainian food. You will not be disappointed. Service in traditional clothes is good. Price for some people perhaps a little bit too high. Beautiful interior. It's a must

Great large restaurant in Carpathian Mountains, town of Vorokhta, close to the highest Ukrainian peak, mt.Hoverla. Good service, Ukrainian and European cuisine. Very nice design. Located next to ski jumps, close to the centre of town. WiFi access. Beautiful landscapes. Good stop on the way to Carpathian highlands, town of Verkhovyna and famous Kosiv market. Vorokhta town is popular tourist resort.
Donechky restaurant is a nice place to visit and eat there. (In English 'Donechky' means 'Daughters').
Ukrainian, Karpathian and European food, good service and very nice interior and exterior design.
Exeptional location in Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains, town of Vorokhta in Ivano-Frankivsk region. Close to mt.Hoverla, the highest Ukrainian peak.
Donechky restaurant is part of Khatky Ruslany holiday resort which includes a group of log cabins.

Cozy two-story restaurant, made in the Austrian style. Ukrainian cuisine with flair. Winter working fireplace.
Приветливый персонал, очень уютно, вкусная кухня и работают до ночи (обычно в Яремче все закрывается в 22).
Рекомендуем дерун по-гуцульски, а любителям остренького бограч.
Но если честно, там вкусно абсолютно все.

The best place to eat in the Karpathian Mountains. Very nice service and very tasty food. The atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxed. Nice fontaine outside. Close to the train station. We\ve stayed here before train departure and have ordered meals in advance - everything was on time and very tasty!

Medvezha Hora or Bear Mountain is another beautifully appointed Hutsul-style wood and craftwork place to eat, with a swan pond across the lane and places to sit outside in good weather. Its food offerings are traditional Hutsul, but not distinguished enough for the price difference with other kolybas (inns). The service is good and sometimes there is live music.

The cuisine is "nothing special"
Poor service because the staff doesn't worry if you like this place and its cuisine or not. Many visitors will definitely come there because of the favourable location of the restaurant with a view on Prut river.
The restaurant which can welcome approximately 70 persons has only ONE WC. ONLY ONE both for women and for men. WC is awfully dirty.
You should be ready to wait for your order more than 40 min. The equipment of the cuisine is not professional.
The staff is unfriendly.
I do not recommend this place.

Great location, normal price, nice view near the main road to Bukovel, we ordered chicken, pork ribs and mashed potatoes.. All food was probably made hot in microwave in few minutes, quality very poor, Little portions, really nothing good, to cook well IS unknown tale in this restaurant

The restaurant is situated on the ground floor of the hotel. Its interior creates the atmosphere of cosiness and home comfort. It has big panoramic windows with overlooking the Mountains. The restaurant is designed for 40 people. The basis of the menu consists of dishes with fresh, organic products of local production. Here you can taste bograch, Freshwater trout, soup with dried mushrooms, Hutsul cheese and meat products, prepared according to traditional recipes. In summer we offer you meals with mushrooms and berries, fresh spices and vegetables.
Tthis place is my favourite in Mykulychyn, easy to get to, quiet and peaceful (close to the river where Klen has private beach) - just the right place to restore yourself.
The cuisine deserves special column :). I would call it rather european with large selection of local dishes, but not so fatty as it used to be at other places nearby.
Valeria and Igor, the owners of Klen are at the same time brilliant chefs are very kind to guests, taking into account your wishes re meal as well as re staying.
