At first glance, we didn't think we would be able to eat here without a reservation. Tables completely full or with reservation cards on top were all we could see. The hostess, however, let us know you could order the same things from a stand and eat on the nearby pier, complete with wooden tables on the water.
We stood in line for about ten minutes, and ordered our food. Hint: get the fish nuggets. They were beer battered and amazing when coupled with this place's homemade remoulade or honey mustard. I also loved the fried catfish (Wels). It was so fresh and hot that I burned myself many times while trying to eat it because I was impatient and couldn't wait. My husband had fried salmon, and enjoyed it, too, although I'm pretty sure the catfish was better.
From a stand across from where you order food, we got beer and wine and took everything down to the dock. We got a perfect corner table and enjoyed the view of the water. Highly recommended!

After seeing the Sancouci palace we saw across the road a sign for the beer garden. But this was no beer garden but the patio for the Movenpick Cafe. It was busy but we snagged a spot. So glad we did because it turned out to be one of our favourite spots in Germany.
They have a great menu with many regional dishes with pairings. We went for the veal in white wine with mushrooms dish as well as the pork medallions in a cream sauce with mushrooms and bread dumplings. Both dishes were large and oh so good.
Couldn't resist a scoop of their excellent ice cream to finish off the meal.
Make a trip to the bathroom before dessert and check out the amazing dessert display inside their elegant building.
Our waitress was pleasant and worked very hard despite the lunch crowd.
We highly recommend this fine place.

Very hard to pronounce name of restaurant head to square then head to the river and make a right and there it is expect to eat fish soup only no menu water is from the tap that's okay, very authentic an authentic atmosphere.

Dienstagmittag im Januar ein offenes Restaurant zu finden ist nicht nur in Werder schwierig ... Leider verrät der Kellner mir bei der Kartenausgabe nicht, dass es die Spezialität des Hauses "Werderaner Bratplötzenfilet" gar nicht gibt ... und die Tomaten-Orangensuppe ist mir zu scharf ... Warum es statt dem überall plakatierten Berliner Kindl nur Radeberger gab, habe ich nicht verstanden ...

Well known by the locals there were all sorts of parties and groups gathered to eat at a large barbecue. We were not invited to take part and went on the menu. Good service, good food - if a little plain - lovely spot. We were recommended to it by our landlady and went by bike.

Schade um meine Zeit, um hier viel zu schreiben. Die Eissorten wenig kreativ und die Umsetzung schwach, so das ich es nicht empfehle.
