Wengen is a mountain village in the Bernese Oberland of central Switzerland. Located in the canton of Bern at an elevation of 1,274 m (4,180 ft) above sea level, it is part of the Jungfrauregion and has approximately 1,300 year-round residents, which swells to 5,000 during summer and to 10,000 in the winter. Wengen hosts the classic Lauberhorn ski races of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in January.

I wouldn't rave about it but it is ok. Me & my brother ate here. We had macaroni with minced beef & creme fraiche/sour cream. Comes in a pot which they put on the little heater pot in the middle of your table.
They seat you mainly in the conservatory bit on the front, friendly staff.

Get spoiled by our comfortable and light dining-room. Dinner is served from 6.30Pm to 9pm. Providing guests with an excellent cuisine is a pillar of our business. A tasty, varied 5-course menu with choice of the main courses is served, always with a vegetarian option. On Sunday evening we provide a delicious 6-course Gala Dinner, while we ensure variety by serving a special theme buffet mid-week. On request we are glad to prepare diet/allergic meals

My husband and I stayed at the Wengener Hof hotel during our trip to Wengen, and decided it would be easiest, at least on our first night, to eat at the hotel. We were impressed by the quality of the food, and there was certainly plenty to fill our stomachs. The wait staff is fluent in English, and was happy to accommodate our needs. Although the dinner is brought to you, there is a salad bar set up on tables in main dining room, and the bread and baskets are located near there, so you have to leave your table for that. Our enjoyed our dinner so well that we decided to eat there again the following night. Our room included breakfast, and we were quite happy to see some traditional German fare, including meat, cheese, and rolls. If you are in the mood for cereals or eggs, they have those as well. There are seats in a portion of the restaurant that have a view. We sat in there for our meals, but I think they are generally reserved for the people who are spending long amounts of time at the hotel. There were a lot of seasonal regulars that all knew each other. We were happy to have a table with a view! All in all, a great experience.

The hotel Oberland's restaurant is located in the centre of the village just an easy 5 minute walk from the train station. We are open daily from 11.30 am to the evening. Our menu has everything from soups, snacks and salads, pizzas, pasta, meat and fish dishes and of course traditional Swiss dishes of fondues and röstis. Our extensive desert menu has something for everyone from a small ice cream to our special chocolate cake. Relax in our garden with a cooling drink in summer or in our restaurant with a hot chocolate in winter. Free parking is available and a bus stop a few meters away.

Ate here once and that was enough of that. In comparison to the other two really good restaurants in the area, this came up short. They had a boring menu slanted toward tourists and the staff didn't seem at all pleased that people were actually eating here and making them work. Don't accept the hype and ate at Steinbock or Restaurant Weidstubli instead.

Spent a leisurely few hours here after completing 3/4 of the Kleine Scheidegg to Wengen stroll. Perfectly located next to the Allemand train stop. Great variety of local and Thai food. Rusti with egg was delicious. Attentive , friendly staff who went out of the way to welcome us.

This hotel restaurant is open for visitors, it has a very nice Terrace overlooking the gorgeous landscape here in Mürren.
We had typical Swiss food, very well cooked with a very attentive service from a Portuguese girl.
Prices average for the Swiss standards.

When you're just simply tired of Swiss cuisine try this unassuming Asian spot conveniently located on the towns main street. To be straight up, it was the best service we had anywhere in Switzerland, and the food was just as good.

We visited most of the Michelin mentioned restaurants in the Lauterbrunnen valley region during our two week trip to the area. We were surprised that this restaurant received a mention. Our biggest disappointment was the "wild boar" dish which was absolutely not wild boar. We have eaten wild boar many times including at other restaurants in the area. The accompanying dishes were similarly disappointing.

Airtime Cafe is in the centre of Lauterbrunnen and is a great relaxing spot for a breakfast or lunch or just cake and coffee. A wide range of delicious house-made food to choose from. Gluten free options are available. Great coffee served by friendly staff.
