Having taste tested a few vanilla slices in the Valley towns has now reinforced my decision that this place has the best vanilla slice in the Valley. Generous serving (enough for 2 people) not the sickly sweet topping you find elsewhere and the delicate lemon flavour in it enhances it to a new level. Yes the staff seem pre occupied for some reason and a bit disjointed but just wait in line in front of the cashier to place your order. As they run out of the vanilla slice quite often we pre ordered and came back for it for takeaway after doing some retail therapy in town. It's put Warby on the map for me !!

Family owned and run. Everything home made and healthy. Allergy and vegan friendly. Great for kids. Local beer and cider. Seasonal menu with local, ethically sourced produce.
Had lunch there an the trip adviser recommendations, it did not disappoint.
I had the bruschetta with heirloom tomatoes and she had the beans, both were a good size and delicious. The burgers also got the thumbs up from two men at a neighbouring table. There is Seating inside and outside and a wine tasting place next door. You order and pay at the counter.
Back for coffe today, very nice.

We are situated in the township of Warburton in the Upper Yarra Valley and enjoy a unique position on the edge of the Yarra river. Our facilities include a rear balcony and deck where you will see the foothills of Mt Donna Buang and listen to the river meandering through the valley. Our menu is changed seasonally and where possible local produce is sourced to bring you the very best the Yarra Valley can provide. The food is wholesome and fresh and servings are generous
I don’t have pies normally as I find them quite bland. Today whilst cruising Warburton she who must be obeyed and I chanced on this establishment. The minister of right and justice selected avocado, eggs, ricotta on sourdough and I chose a homemade burgundy pie. It was huge and when I broke the pastry found real chuck beef the size of a small thumb knuckle and gravy. The meat had no fat and was succulent.
I have to say it was the best I have ever had.
Highly recommended.

Come and join us at Oscar's and experience our seasonal menu. Our menu draws on the exceptional quality of Yarra Valley's produce, blended into an International menu to suit all palates. Overlooking the picturesque Yarra River on balmy evenings, casually dine on the large outdoor Terrace beneath the century old oak tree. To complement the food, our exciting wine list focuses upon leading Victorian winemakers with an Upper Yarra Valley focus. From private dinners and milestone celebrations to weddings, corporate events and product launches. Oscar's can cater for 2 to 102 guests making us the ideal location for large affairs or intimate occasions.
The dining room is spacious and nicely decorated with a lovely outdoor Terrace looking towards the river and Mountains. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The menu selection is small for each course but we very much enjoyed the pork dish and the tender steak. The desserts were good too. A recommended venue but a shame we had to ask three times for more water in spite of the room not being particularly full.

Burgers made in the old fashioned way. Plain burger had and made with the right amount of lettuce and sauce, meat patty good well and the bun used was flat style and not too flowery. Overall a good burger rest of the menu look good as well.

Excellent location as not many similar places to eat in that area, especially during holiday periods. Being a very hot day, we were also very pleased to find somewhere cool to have a rest, and enjoy cool drinks. Wide selection, and seriously delicious food.

After Reading other reviews, we thought we'd give it a go. Very disappointing. Bland and lacked the flavours and textures we have become accustomed to in our travels all over Vietnam.
The servings are very small, and lack the colour and fragrance of traditional Vietnamese cuisine. The gentleman who served us was polite, and the interior is cosy, but the food needs improvement. Hopefully the owners will take this feedback on board and will look at revising the current vegetarian options.

We stopped here as we were leaving Warburton to cycle back to Lilydale. It is a great place to start the ride, right on the Warburton to Lilydale rail trail. The coffee was lovely and we had a very filling breakfast to set us up for the ride. Lovely to sit and watch the mist rise over the Mountains. I noticed the business is for sale I hope it stays open as it really is a great place

Historic country hotel. Named after a local roustabout, Sam Knott, who became the face of advertising for Carlton & United Breweries with the poster seen in nearly every Aussie pub with the catch phrase - "I allus has wan at eleven" Lots of history in the 137 year old pub, with yummy homestyle home cooked meals. Open for lunch Friday, Saturday & Sunday & dinner served 7 nights a week.
Staff enjoyed working with the crowd. Ambience was pleasant and family/group friendly. Band was setting up so the crowd was building up for it. We had Eileen's rissoles - strong flavor and fairly salty gravy but we enjoyed it.
Good country pub with casual feel and good service.

We return to Little Joe each time we visit Warburton as the service, pizza and wine are to die for. We’ve never been disappointed and will definitely return!
The views of the Mountains from the courtyard are fantastic. Isn’t Warburton a wonderful town.
Thank you Little Joe for so many lovely memories.
