Wallaceburg (2016 population 10,098) is an unincorporated community in the municipality of Chatham-Kent in Southern (Southwestern) Ontario, Canada. Originally a small settlement, it was recognized for its significant contribution to the lumber and boat building industries and strategic location along the banks of the scenic Sydenham River. In more recent years, 1895-1999, the town was known for its glass making industry. For that reason, Wallaceburg is locally known as the "glass town of Canada."

Hungry? The Large Marge is a burger that is guaranteed to fill you up - but most people can't even eat the whole thing! All of their burgers are fresh and delicious! Onion rings are crispy and awesome. Very casual burger joint. Eat inside or outside.

The pizza is pretty good. It's warm, but not too warm. I personally recommend jerry's pizza, it's only a few doors down. The sauce is sweet, for some reason and the cheese isn't gooey like it's supposed to be. The dough is yummy :D

Chuck;s has been around for 50+ years. It still has the best Burgers and fries in the area. They have great foot-long hotdogs. Root beer and Vernors Gingerale are still my favorites. I used to go there as a kid and still do as a senior

At the end of the Sydenham river lays this hidden gem, known to locals and seniors in every surrounding town for the better part of a 50k radius, we stumbled upon this culinary delight. Their weekend buffet is a small selection of freshly prepared perfection that pleases the pickiest of 86 yr old, to the toddler and everyone in between.. My fav is the giant patio on the river which invites large lingering gatherings of jovial boaters and everyone else... The Staff is super friendly, bar up front is a nice separation which promotes different vibes..

Crabby Joe's Tap & Grill offers a casual, relaxed family friendly restaurant and bar experience and a menu with something for everyone. Good Food... Good Fun... Bad Temper!
While we had occasion to have only one meal here, we felt we would have liked to have had more. That's always a good sign. We found the service to be attentive, the food thoroughly enjoyable and the atmosphere laid back and seemingly enjoyed equally...MoreHi Peter, Thank you so much for leaving a review! While passing through Wallaceburg recently we checked Trip Advisor and found that James Street Eatery was listed as number one. We decided to check it out for dinner. Its a nice place with maybe 20 or so tables. They had a good selection of local craft beers on tap. The service was very friendly. My wife ordered the Taco Bowl and I ordered the Chicken Alfredo. She loved hers, however my order was not so great. First off, it was about the size of a side dish rather than a main course, also, it was not very warm - like it had sat for awhile. The Alfredo sauce had gelled and was pasty.
Regardless, I stil rated it as Very Good, as I think this is a great establishment for downtown Wallaceburg. Based on so many positive reviews, we would visit again and maybe try another item on the menu.

100% Canadian since 1959, we have a long history of proudly serving Canadians great tasting burgers. Each and every burger is charbroiled to perfection at 600°F on an open-flame grill. The rest is up to you, we let you choose from a selection of fresh toppings just the way you want it, right in front of you. Now that's a beautiful thing!
This is a Harvey's/Swiss Chalet franchise. You order from either menu at the counter and wait for your food, which only takes a minute or two to get. There's always special deals whether it's Swiss Chalet or Harvey's. Of all the Swiss Chalets in the area, this one has the best serving of chicken. Food is sometimes served on China with silver ware, other times they use take out containers and plastic ware. They have a good sized dining room that is clean. Staff are always friendly and efficient. Centrally located on the main highway through Wallaceburg, in front of Walmart. This restaurant is worth the drive.
