This restaurant is located at the end of the narrow road near Vranovska priehrada (Vranov dam). Fortunately there are signs leading you there as our navi was not able to show us this place. Witty and willing man is the owner and waiter at the same time, he was nice in chatting with us, offering us a lot of meal. I chose a roasted duck not knowing that a big piece of meat (quarter of this big bird) is serve together with a big portion of cabbage and 4 dumplings (Czech: Knedle). Meat was perfectly done, very soft and tasty. My friend selected a fried cheese with french fries. As we had also a soup, we were hardly able to finish our meal. Moravian cakes came as a surprised free of charge after the main course. A lot of good food together with a nice water view is something worth returning for. Be careful, this spot is open only friday to sunday during April, as the season here is mainly during the summer.

Lauschiges Ausflugsrestaurant an der Thaya, direkt am Grenzübergang und Beginn des Einsiedlerweges. Wanderer und Radfahrer als Gäste.
Die tschechischen Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und bemüht, das Essen war durchaus gut. Die Kartoffelsuppe mit Eierschwammerl war ausgezeichnet, die gebackenen Zucchinipalatschinken auch sehr ok. Die tschechische Honigtorte sehr gut. Säfte vom Bauern und der Eiskaffee selbst gemacht.
Besser als andere Restaurants im Ort.

By far the best restaurant in Vranov nad Dyji. It´s family run restaurant with great service and delicious meals. Definitely you have to try wood fire Pizza! Large selection of typical Czech meals and wines.

It's a pitty that there's no better place in Vranov and surrounding (at least we don't know about anything). They saved our day when we didn't get anything to eat in a restaurant U Vodnare, and were starving. However, it was Vinobrani in Znojmo, the restaurant was full (including a school reunion) and there was just one waitress for the whole place. We were waiting for a long time and the food was moderate.

I was here with my boyfriend and we tried pre-ordered Malaysian degustation menu for 2-3 persons. It was delicious! It seems to be a small pension owned by some nice people. Lady from this pension prepared for us lunch that she have learned from her Malaysian friend and it was truly exotic food. In the end we ate little more than half from the common serving of the meal because it was too big. It's a shame that place like this is too far away from my current residence.

Tohle je hospoda kde si vzpomenete na dětství strávené u babičky.Je v jednom z nejkrásnějších míst Podyjí a péči dostanete taky jako kdysi.Je to tu malé,útulné a příjemné.Ceny versus kvalita jsou super ale hlavně je vše domácí.Určitě se budete vracet.P.S. nezapomeňte si dát halušky,jsou výborné.
