A very pleasant atmosphere but we wondered initially about the food as we were the only customers. Our food was delicious and the service was good. It looks like it is family run, and met our needs completely.
Reasonably priced I recall although it was several weeks ago

If you are in the Viseu area then please have lunch at this fabulous restaurant! The food is so fresh, beautiful local olives, chorizo. The Bacalhau is the best I've ever eaten! The setting is quiet and remote but well worth the trip. The staff are so friendly and helpful but make sure you have a good appetite as the food is plentiful and the local Dão wine is great too! This is a place to take your time and enjoy Portuguese cooking at its best. This place is great value for money and I will be telling all my friends to go here as soon as they can! A fantastic meal.

Excellent place for a short stay! Bread, bread and bread, warm, delicious! Cakes, a lot of them, traditional and regional ones.

This is the kind of restaurant I look for - very good, simple, local food. The wine is amazing, and the tapas they brought out before the main meal were an unexpected treat (olives, breads, cheeses, and spreads). I tried wild boar for the first time, and it made me think of delicate-tasting bacon. They even had an English menu, which surprised me. If you are in the area and want to discover Portuguese food, I highly recommend this place.

Myself and my family have been here for dozens of times.
The standard of the food and the service can hardly be bitten.
The portions are huge and we always end up to bring the left overs home, because I hate to see good food going in the bin.
The prices are very reasonable too.
You must book before to avoid disappointment.
Keep the hard work, and we will be back soon

Boa tarde amigas e amigos viajantes!!!

The food is amazing! One of the best I ever tried.
The service definitely needs improvement. Slow and not professional.
Owners should take some measures about the doors, that are always opened and the region is too cold in the winter. I would suggest a sign asking people to close the door. I took my sick father and I had to get up and close it at least 20 times.
Aside that, if you are visiting the region, that's the place to go.
