Went here on our second night at Gerês mainly because of the TripAdvisor score, awesome food, perfectly cooked 'picanha', staff is a little bit unorganized and that's why they won't get the 5 star rating, the food is awesome and for that reason only will come back for sure.

Adega do Ramalho is a rustic, comfortable and cosy restaurant, located in the Geres, is perfect to taste traditional food of Minho. The restaurant is open all year and provides a service for family lunches and dinners, but also coffee, snack bar and snacks.

Among the main dishes of the house stand out Rojoes a Portuguesa (traditional dish of Portugal consisting of bits of fried pork with potato, pig's blood and tripe), the roast veal in a wood oven, the typical Caldo Verde (vegetable soup), as well as entries with traditional smoked sausages (bread and garlic sausage, chorizo, codfish balls, among other specialties).

The Restaurant Adega do Ramalho is the best place for those in Geres want to enjoy moments of pleasure associated with the table and eat well.
This has been, for quite a few years, my favorite restaurant at Gerês National Park. The food is delicious, and typical home made. Desserts are also extraordinary. Very friendly and available staff, always with a smile. Considering food quantity and quality, it's indeed a cheap place to have an excellent meal. Veal and codfish are surely my favorites. Also try the local red wine, very fresh! It will be a great experience!

I visited this restaurant for a lunch with my wife. It was a pleasant surprise. We were the first to arrive to find a very cosy warm room. Mr Victor is really a charismatic character that makes you feel at home from the 1st moment....MoreMuito obrigado pela avaliação. Até breve o bacalhau esperta o meu Amigo.

The waitress could only speak a little English and we have no Portuguese. So after much gesticulating and laughter we settle for the chef's recommendation - it was absolutely delicious. Although not on the tourist trail I would recommend a visit here if you are in the area,

The service was good - but we're rarely so disappointed with the food as we were at Capela's. We ordered a steak (I think it was the Capela steak with the sausages and the egg) and a grilled salmon.
We asked for no sausages because we don't eat pork. The waitress brought us steak with sausages on it. After we pointed out that we don't eat pork, the waitress took the plate and after a few minutes her (we assume?) mum who was the cook came to the table and threw the plate on our table. No words, the content exactly the same, just the sausages removed. The steak was bloody and meat did not taste fresh. Possibly one of the worst meals I've had in my life. As for salmon - the taste was ok but the bottom was burnt (charcoal black) which put us off.
Needless to say that we skipped the desert. They also wanted to charge us for more drinks than we consumed. I would like to believe that it was a genuine mistake, but nevertheless we were very disappointed with the experience and will never return.

We loved the lasagne and the red wine sangria. Nice place, nice people. Comfortable for big groups. Ideal to eat at late hours (until 2am).

From Monday to Friday they served daily lunch menus (bread, soup, plate, dessert and coffee) for 6.5 €. Good Portuguese cuisine, service and a pleasant place.

The kitchen is, of course, regional, honest and tasty
Near Vieira do Minho, this restaurant offers good quality food. From the starters to the meat that is exceptional. The dinner room could have another decoration but it is ok.. the price is good for it offers..

Imagine enjoying a green living space worm, intersected by Valleys, steep Mountains and the sky red of the evening to draw landscape around it. Built in trunks in the alimagens DiverLanhoso point to the Adventure Park and surrounded by the smells and tastes of a unique menu, has the image of being able to cover the world in your hand.
We came with some expectations and it didnt let us down. They offered setubal's moscatel with 7up, which is delicious. We had the basic starters: bread, different kinds of cheese, a tasty tuna paté. They have other specialties. We chose the chicken breast with vegeteables and "alheira". If you mix it right, its very tasty. My wife had DiverLanhoso's cod, and it was even better than the chicken. The side chips were slightly sweet, and captured the cod's sause perfectly. Divine. For desert we were so full that we just ordered one chocolate mousse for two. Nothing extraordinary, choose a different one. For drinks we had water and a glass of the house's wine. We paid 32 euros. Overall, I can only say we'll be back. Ah.. and go there on a sunny day to make the most of the restaurant and the diverlanhoso park.
