Mercado Central is a restaurant with signature cuisine located in the heart of Vicente Lopez, opened by four friends with over 10 years experience in hotels and restaurants: Mariano Gomez, Gonzalo De Dominicis, Jorge Noguera, Lanzillotta Nicolas.
A small menu offers a number of delicious options from an international cuisine with excellent Argentinian wines in a nice setting. A great alternative from those tired of ojo de bife. Highly recommended; will definitely return.

If you want to eat a really good sushi, the place to get it, in my opinion, is Sakiko in the Vicente Lopez area in the northern part of Buenos Aires.
We know a lot of Japanese restaurants in our town, but in none of them are we equally happy as in Sakiko: nice and calm atmosphere, excellent service and, most important, best and most tasty sushi in town in my opinion!!!
The sushi-chef at Sakiko, Sakiko Yamamoto, a Argentinian borne Japanese, is descended from parents surviving both Hiroshima, and she definitively combines very well in behavior and in her creations, the essence of her south American native country, as also the traditions of the origins her family.
As a surplus to a nice lunch at Sakiko, and for a good digestion activity, you can just cross the street, the Avenida Maipu, and take a stroll in the recent opened garden of the “Quinta presidencial” the residence of the Argentinean presidents. And you will enjoy it!

If you are lucky to get a table across the street is a very nice place to enjoy a conversation and eat. Not pricy and a very wide menu to satisfy unless you are very sophisticated. (incidentally the confiteria is said to have the best croissants in town)

This resto and his owner has been around for many years.
They know what Mexican food is all about.
The resto is in a closed street in La Lucila a very nice residential suburb of the famous North Zone in Buenos Aires.... about 1 hr from downtown.
Its next to the La Lucila train station.
If you are keen for a small trip catch the train from Retiro get off in La Lucila and you are there.
The area is nice to visit during the day as there is more to see and do.
At night it is probably a bit too far for Mexican...unless you are local in the area.
The food is great and they have all the Mexican Classics.
In summer is great they have a Terrace upstairs to see the stars while eating...(weather permiting)
Great place a bit far for the Downtown Tourist..

Hidden away from main street... so the only way to go is going..!!!
You will not stumble into it...that´s for sure.
BUT once there you will enjoy it..
Typical Argentinian cuisine must try... must repeat.
The place is decorated like you were in a country house....very nice
Try the cakes and sweets....
Everything is great....love to go and come back..

We were warmly welcomed at this delighful restaurant, even though we were still busy admiring the beautiful selection of cakes on display!
We were disappointed to miss the brunch - but that was our fault for turning up late! Service was excellent, despite the large party who occupied most of the restaurant and the staffs time. The food offers a welcome change from the many parrilladas in Buenos Aires and proved to be a meal that reminded us of home, after three months away from Europe. The food was washed down with two bottles of excellent wine and we decided to have desert on the charming rear patio.

The food was actually delicious, a balanced menu with a well thought wine chart to go with it. Lovely atmosphere. Very well recommended

We had lunch on a Sunday, the restaurant is really big and all tables were occupied. The sea food is excellent and I recommend to share as portions are big, you can always order more, most people were leaving the restaurant with a doggy bag.

Auténtica pizza napolitana. Abierto todos los días, excepto martes, almuerzo y cena. Aceptamos efectivo y tarjetas de débito.
This pizza and it's different ingredients and techniques makes it perfect to alternate with the more traditional local pizza in BsAs. Fresh and original ingredients are used and that is key to produce the traditional flavour and experience.
DELIVERY: Timing excellent. A total time of 30 mins or less if you live in Vicente Lopez (which includes prep time)
HOURS OF DELIVERY: A KEY ADVANTAGE: you can schedule a Delivery (e.g. 9:15) or start receiving the pizza right away from 18:30, sooner than other Delivery services even in other specialties.
PACKAGING: Typical box, as suggestion owners could add a sticker to it to put a premium sign, but again, still the pizza is excellent.
INGREDIENTS: Seems that ingredients are a priority for Partenope's management. Ingredients are fresh and in the appropriate proportions.
CLIENT SERVICE THROUGH PHONE: Have a visit to Partenope's webpage in order to know in advance what you will be asking for your order. Whoever who takes your call assumes you already know everything about Partenope's products and specialities in pizza and other options.
PRICES: ranging from 120-150 a specialty pizza it is not expensive, but perhaps could be great to receive for example pizza foccaccia or some typical freebie for new clients. Just suggestions.
RESTAURANT: Unfortunately if you are not passing by or you live nearby, you will find it not too attractive to be tempted to stop, but the important here is the pizza itself. Very little promotion, even with a huge pizza market as the argentinean.

Authentic homemade Argentinian cuisine. Had some battered fish with what they call Spanish potatoes. Unfortunately no red wine as I cannot drink at lunch time or I just fall asleep. Deffo recommend.
