We had twice lunch at this restaurant and what we ate was exceptionally well prepared
and tasty. Among others we had grilled fresh seafood and vegetables, cod brandade (with real pieces of cod !), very delicious tortellini filled with shrimps,
The portions were generous. Easy parking, nice view, cosy atmosphere.
Perfectly adapted for handicapped people. Check with google to access the seashore parking, there is only one through via Pasteur.

Visited the place on December 30th,2017 without any recommendation and there was a ver nice surprise to us.Small, cosy,a bit worn out interior, smartly dressed and very welcoming staff,so far so good.Menu short but well set up,clerly indicating, that no deep frozen/microwaved food shall be served. This promise had been met and food served was freshly prepared, using fresh produce and skills.Wee had octopus salad ( delicious ) and frito misto of fresh fish.Outstanding coffee did serve as a dessert,as proposed sweets were not compatible with our diet.Service was really professional, but humble and we will visit the place again,as we live in Beausoleil,France

The best place to discover fresh homemade pasta with about 40 different sort of sauces. Nice restroom, front of the seaside, multilingual staff. You should taste : tagliolini with lobster, tagliatelle with shrimps and mushrooms, penne with bitter cocoa with artichokes, gnocchi with cod and cream, tagliolini with rabbit, fettuccine shrimps in lemon sauce,......and much more.
On a stonethrow from the beach, next to the new yaught harbour currently being build, Pasta & Basta is truly the best place I know for fresh pasta with delicious sauces. Nothing else needed! Pasta (and a delicious light sparklin house wine) ... and: basta!

Amazing behaviour: we ordered Spaghetti alle vonghole, rather average with crushed shells.
Asking for 2 glasses of white wine, this talkative and invading patron did not show the winelist and we could not select anything, brought a bottle empty to the bottom arguing that "a wine is not to be known by the name but must be drunk" (??). This tricky attitude opens way to 5 cl of wine poured in each glass and a maximum of 5 cl left in the bottle on the table. As foreseen, we needed one extra glass from this patron always laughing with Italian friends sitting at their table and claiming that "there is no problem in this restaurant" and he went to pour one new glass from another bottle also empty to the bottom. For sure, checking the bill was necessary as foreseen since this patron on a small ticket which is not relevant from the fiscal viewpoint had registered 3 glasses of wine / 5 Euros each for an average wine. I sprang to the desk to ask the meaning of this trick and he did not discuss too much the point.

This place is just amazing and surprisingly unknown. We always take the tasting menu and have never been less than ecstatic afterwards. Generally when one eats out in a group there is always one dish which is the star of the show, here we always find that almost everyone has a different favorite.
I was reluctant to leave this review as I did not want the place so busy I would have difficulty getting a table, but they really deserve to be recognised as the best this side of Gerona.

We chose this restaurant based on many Trip Advisor reviews, sadly we were greatly disappointed. My Scampi Tagliatelle was overcooked, the pasta starchy and the scampi soft and mushy. Additionally I was not given crackers to break the claws of the scampi.
My partner chose a tuna dish with black rice, although another Tuna dish appeared. After a long day of driving, he chose not to complain, and ate it, describing it as "average"
(This is a man who usually does not complain)
For 18€ per dish, we were expecting a little higher quality.
One staff member was very pleasant, the other indifferent and disinterested. Maybe we caught them on a bad night, but we won't be back. It's a shame, we've had many excellent dinners based on trip advisor reviews, just not this one!

Pizzeria Ristorante forno a legna
Was it a deliberate attempt to short change me or was it a genuine mistake? I took the bill for €26 in its folder to the lady at the till and handed it to her with a €50 note. She then gave me a few coins in change. I said this was not the right change. I pointed to the paper with the €26 charge which she was now screwing up as if to throw away. I pointed again and now in English, having exhausted my limited knowledge of Italian, said that is my bill. Simultaneously, a man (whom I think was the proprietor) said in Italian it’s the bill for table #1, not your table, so a mistake. Why was she trying to throw away my bill and insisting I owed €40? How did the man know which table she was charging me for? Although I was finally given the correct change I came away with the unpleasant feeling they had attempted to short change me.
And the food? We had pizzas which were adequate and unremarkable. There was nothing to make us think the pizza here is special or delicious. In that respect we have to disagree with some other TripAdvisor reviewers about the pizzas at this restaurant. A few raw, flavourless cherry tomatoes and several basil leaves sprinkled on top did not impress. How disappointing when we had been looking forward to the opportunity of a great Italian pizza.
Overall not a good experience. We could not recommend this place to anyone.

An intimate and welcoming. Located in the city center near the station. Mediterranean cuisine, fine wines and friendly staff and qualified. A restaurant ideal for a romantic evening but also for a reunion between friends.
We were encouraged to try this restaurant by the good reviews we read, and even because it was very convenient for us, halfway between the railway station and our hotel.
We were two people and we both opted for the "degustazione" fish menu all included (35 euro each).
Apart from the fine food presentation, we found all of excellent taste.
The appetizer included a tasting of mussels, other warm seafood, and salt cod puree with pine nuts.
As a first course, we both opted for the ravioli stuffed with sea bass, also with sea bass sauce.
Instead, we chose a different main course: fresh tuna flavored with mint leaves, and baked squid.
Finally, "café gourmand", that is, accompanied by two delicious desserts.
Note that the menu includes a glass of wine: we have chosen two of white wine, one of them sparkling.
The bill was 73 € for two people (three Euros more were for a water bottle): a very honest price for this food standard. Then it seemed dutiful a small tip.

Simply the best kitchen meditteranea
This restaurant is amazing! The food was superb, the service excellent, stunning location, value for money, easy parking, it has got the lot!
We ordered the €60 olive oil tasting menu which was simply outstanding! 6 generous courses plus canapés, petit fours, wine, water and coffee were included in this price.
We were made to feel so comfortable by Franco and Simona.
Thank you for an excellent lunch and fabulous food experience.
