The good was spectacular! The specials with chicken breast and the pork chops all were amazing. The staff is friendly but speaks little English. The service was quite slow which was the only negative. Very well priced and nearby toro verde adventure park.

This is an experience not to be missed! Even the ambiance is interesting with various pieces of interesting art and the choice of dining inside or outside with a spectacular view of the beach and sunset at dinnertime. The food has the Jose' Andres Spanish flair with decidedly unique twists and everything that we tried was delicious (remember to save room for dessert - trust me!). The staff at Mi Casa are also exceptional and will make your experience truly memorable.

Good flavor and service. Only two options to buy wine bottles...it is economic but with really good flavor. Service is excellent also location no parking. Really good spot!

I ordered By phone "Carry Out", Mofongo + Shrimps in Salsa Criolla. I didn't ask for the price assuming a price between $12-15. Surprise! $19 for only 7 medium size shrimps.
I made a request to have the plate with plenty of salsa and it was really dry.
For that price I was expecting a grandma plate but the taste was below average.
In the other hands, the restaurant has a good ambient and is well decorated. The other plate "wings" was better and well priced, $9.

Open air dining that made for a perfect night! The service team was the ideal blend of great recommendations and a genuine sense of hospitality.
We enjoyed the snapper, salmon, and sides that included their roasted potatoes and cauliflower. Outstanding! Their chardonnay and a few beers made for excellent complements.
The setting is magical ...

A fusion of Caribbean and international flavor in a modern, family and business environment. Dare to taste a different and unique flavor in Vega Baja. Dare to pass it UP! Brunch on Saturday and Sunday
We stumbled upon this restaurant due to a Tripadvisor review
The place is quite lovely decorated
The staff is super friendly and ready to answer any question you may have of the menu
We tried the croquetas - not very good - the sorullitos - very good and the hummus - homemade with malanga chips REALLY good
Our 10yo had the nuggets and she raved about the rice and beans
I had the stuffed porkchop with caribbean risotto and my husband had the stuffed flank steak with potatoes
ALL GOOD
For dessert we had the pear sponge cake
All in all a very good meal

This review is for Fu Hou Buffet, which is the phone and address listed for this location in Vega Baja. I am from the states and am accustomed to the buffets there where they have hibachi and raw sushi bars. This place's sushi was subpar and limited in variety and quantity. There was no hibachi but they did have freshly grilled fish, salmon, and beef. The buffet itself was good. There was a nice variety and lots of rice options including a seafood rice which had a great flavor. I wasn't impressed with the dessert options and was disappointed they don't have hot tea like most buffets, but I guess in PR that's not in demand. Overall it was fine and the sprinkling of Puerto Rican food made it interesting for a Chinese buffet!

It's good to know that there is a local place that serves great pizza in a great family atmosphere, I'm starting to become a regular here. There are other spots in Vega Baja that make pizza though I feel some have fallen behind or they have closed. The pizza itself can be compared to a New-York style pizza, quite thin crust, tasty sauce and just the right amount of cheese, not sloppy nor lacking. The owner himself is also one of the pizza makers and comes by to say hello too, and the staff is very friendly. A good option for large families is their monster pizza, easily can feed a family of 7+. If you are looking for a quick bite or a family pizza night, make sure to stop by this place!

By far the best Cuban Sandwiches ever.... Period.
I ve visited Puerto Rico now for over 20 years and have sampled nearly all the on and off beat places and Resturants. In Vega Baja or for the matter any place in PR this is a must stop. Take a car or taxi boat or what ever but do not miss this place. Worlds best Cuban Sandwichs. I've sampled over 100 different places in the world and by far this is the one. Plus the baked goods here are equally good. This place was called formally the Oceanside but has changed names and owners. It does not matter since its even better now. They bring the very best at very decent prices. Nothing better. Go go go!!!! Thanks for doing it right...
The benchmark that can never be surpassed...
