Ate dinner with long lost Swedish friends on our first visit to the very pretty town of Varberg. Good menu that also met my wife's vegetarian needs.Ate on outside heated patio on a cool evening ,outside dining on a warmer evening would be perfect at this location.

My first visit to the seaside of Varberg and I had lunch at Salt & Vatten and it was a really nice lunch experience. This place gives you a really good feeling with the furniture, the views and the delicious lunch buffet. There were many nice dishes with great tastes. I will go back and stay in this hotel with my wife and enjoy more of this restaurant. Highly recommendable and very friendly staff. It surprised me and to the very positive!

Nice outside Seating. Stopped in Varberg a very nice summer city. In central town we found this Italien restaurant. We was eating a Spaghetti with shrimps and pesto and vegetarian ravioli with sun dried tomato. Both dishes had a very heavy gravt. ..far to heavy for a lunch.
Servant just wanted to get paid a cashregister and did not bother at all about how we liked the food or anything else.

I always thought a kebab was "just a kebab" but this place makes the most amazing kebab rolls. They are like a pizza filled with kebab meat, salad, sauce and all rolled up. Oh my god it is amazing. If you haven't tried these kebab and pizzas you just haven't lived. Yum!

Had lunch here with my wife on a rainy summer day and we were both pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is highly rated in White Guide which made us find it in the first place and it well deserved. Great service, nice ambience and a small selectiono well-cooked dishes (we had "gubbröra" and shrimp salad). Nice touch also that the restaurant had its own beer. I would come here again!

Most of the villages along Sweden's West Coast have architecture with a traditional Swedish wood houses. Varberg is the exception. Big streets, huge square, stone buildings, large commercial/shopping district. At one time. This must've been a thriving metropolis.
On the big square is a small unpretentious "student" Café. Positive vibrations.
Better than average food, average prices, average service, very comfortable ambience. Felt much more comfortable here than in the very expensive hotel restaurant across the street.....

After a walk around town I ended up in the closest restaurant to the hotel. The steaks are served on wooden mounted cast iron plates, I understand they keep the food warm but are never ideal in my opinion. The food though very good and a good selection of beers. Free wifi but you have to ask for the key. The restaurant though is very dark and difficult to see your food or even the menu.

We were ther 4 persons, table booked but not prepared in time. The food was really excellent but unfortunately service was not. It is a pity as otherwise they would have got ten points!
We took a special menu which is called Meze , 16-dishes menu and costs 370: SEK per person. But it means good value for money. I strongly recommend this restaurant but do not expect service be on the same level as the food. It is not. So it is nothing to have if you would like to celebrate a special occasins or so.

Nami is a Japanese Izakaya -a sort of social eating restaurant where food is served in the middle of the table for everyone to share. Smaller courses and more food to explore! Don't hesitate book Now!
We enjoyed a decent meal here in a relaxed atmosphere with pleasant personnel. Like most restaurants in Varberg it was quite pricey given the quality of the food. Overall enjoyable but nothing great.
