Wonderful food, well cooked and piping hot all served without any fuss by the host. My Steak and kydney pie was fantastic. Very good seafood starter and delightful dessert of Banoffee Sundae. Party of 24 people all served very efficiently and quickly. We will definitely be back.

We went to the restaurant after being refurbished and we were pleasantly surprised. There is no doubt the new decoration is a real success, with beautiful furniture and nice lighting.
The meal was as good as always, every single dish we ordered was delicious. Green Pizza and Cheese Cake are my favourites.
The waitress was very eficient, and the food came to the table quickly.
Beet is the perfect place to have dinner in a different way, with quality for a reasonable price.

Family restaurant with 30 years, we never stopped, we are continue changes. The atmosphere is super!! And friendly We have fantastic tapas, (9 time winners) The best fish and meats, when you entrants you can see everything, best seafood como every mornings. Including local lobsters, If you like de wines and spirits this is your best corner. Wine room with 20.000 bottles and the best brands. RON's, whiskey, gins, brandys etc.
Nice round table but in a room by ourselves at back of restaurant. Did not request a private room. Food cold, fish over salted certainly nothing special. Extremely overpriced for normal uninteresting food. Very friendly waitress. €70 a head.... we will not be returning.

Ordered the lava Stone beef, pork rolled in bacon, and crispy duck- it was amazing!
Beef was perfect cooked medium/ well done. Had my doubts about the beef when it arrived, because it looked dry- but was not. It was juicy and well tasting! Loved the peppersaus and mashed potatoes. The pepper and carrots were well cooked, amazing seasoned and still some crunch left in them. Wished for more vegetables. Lovely!
Pork also looked dry upon arrival, but again it was juicy and perfectly cooked. The whole grain sennep sauce was so delicious, we had to ask for extra sauce. Good, crunchy vegetables- wish for more seasoning.
The crispy duck was juicy and well tasting as the rest of the dishes. It could have been crispyer though.
Had rapsberry and mango sorbet, and Apple pie with vanilla sauce, and the baileys cheescake for dessert. The sorbet tasted authentic, and was smooth like a sorbet should. Apple pie lacked taste at the ends, but was really good in the middle, really good vanillasauce! On the baileys cheescake I don't know where to start, it was just so good and tasty! Had a perfekt cheescake consistent, and a crunchy, juicy biscuit base.
The presentation of the dishes looked like a gourmet restaurant.
We absolutely loved this place and it's food, and recomend this place for both family visits, or couple dining.

"El Charro Negro" opened in 1998 in response to demand for a specialized Mexican restaurant in Torrevieja. Our main concern has always been to keep the authenticity of Mexican cuisine, from the first day we have had with products originating in the country and specialized cookers. "El Charro Negro", located at Castelar Square, right downtown, has been known since 1998 for its impeccable cuisine 100 per cent natural, using the best ingredients directly coming from Mexico with the best care and professionalism of its native staff. With its select and well cared for environment, where the smallest detail counts, a visit to "El Charro Negro" restaurant makes up a real trip to the most typical Mexican gastronomy. Now is the moment to break all cliches and taste delicious meals such as its Tacos al pastor, its fajitas or its Tampiquena meat, which are "only hot if requested to".
I know very little about Mexican food, apart form the obvious, but my parents, who live locally recommended this place, so glad they did. The selection of food on offer was tremendous, there is a lot of choices, maybe too many, we decided to order a selection of dishes and share. Everything we tried was excellent, well cooked, some spicy, some not but all lovely and hot. The service was quick and the staff friendly. I would recommend booking in advance, it is a very popular place.

This restaurant which is located close to La Mata Beaches in Balcon de Lomas,
has a daily menu with only 9.50€ which includes first course, main course and
a desert.
Food is constantly delicious and varies nicely from day-today.
It is a small family restaurant and sometimes you need to be patient, if there are
a lot of clients at the same time.
However the food is very good and the quality is stable, you you don't have to worry.
Service is friendly and smooth.
If you are around, definitely worth to pop in.

Visited this restaurant on our last night in Torrevieja. The restaurant is very "country cottage" looking with pretty table decorations and very welcoming staff. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. The portions were huge. Everything was freshly prepared. I recommend the steak pie - absolutely delicious. My husband had the fish and chips. It was some of the best fish he has ever had. Thank you for a lovely end to our holiday.
