“Kannappa “ a fine dine Resturant which serves authentic Chettindau Cuisine.
Ideally located on the service lane off the Madurai Chennai highway with sufficient car parking space, this is the best restaurent in Trichy for traditional spicy South Indian biriyani and non vegetarian dishes. Ask for special seasonal wild fowl and other gaming meat which is frequently available. All preparations are spicy and delicious. Service is also fast and efficient and prices very reasonable. Generally crowded with locals on Sundays and holidays but well worth the short wait for a table. Strongly recommended.

Good food offered. Quite a variety of dishes. Just that place may get busy during peak hours and the space around the restaurant is small. They need to improve their lighting during dinner coz you barely can see what you are having on your plate.

I love food in this restaurant, particularly paper masala dosa, Idle & Vada with hot sambhar, varieties of chattney, filter coffee. But it is located on the main road, busy traffic. During weekends one has to wait to get seat....but you will enjoy super tasty food.

Whenever our family goes for shopping in NSB road, we used to have our dinner here in this restaurant. Food is very good but little costly compared to other restaurant. There will be huge crowd during weekends. Trichy Vasantha Bhavan is different from Chennai Namma Veedu Vasantha Bhavan, so please don't confuse it. The dining area is small but the service is good. You get all south Indian and some north Indian varieties of food.

Taking into consideration that there are not many restaurants with good reviews in Trichy, we tried this one. Being cautious, I just wanted to eat Biryani and Naan. However, the diarrhoea did not wait too long. Therefore, avoid this restaurant, if you want to stay healthy!

"Kannappa " a fine dine Resturant which serves authentic Chettindau Cuisine.
Visited this place after trying the restaurant with same name in Mannarpuram. Totally disappointed.
Place was crowded due to Navarathri. Crowd management was terrible. Staff were seen standing without doing anything to ease the crowd.
Visited during lunch. Choices we're limited especially the fish dishes. Not reflecting what's written in the menu.
Food taste was poor yet very pricey.
This place is shockingly in contrast with the branch in Mannarpuram, where the food is pricey but taste good.
Not a place to be revisited.

Just opposite Central Bus Stand. It's a South Indian Restaurant. The good thing about Trichy is, we have several quality restaurants around Central bus stand.

As we stayed in Femina Hotel we had our Breakfast here which was complimentary.. It was superb and we had no hesitation in choosing this restaurant for Lunch/Dinner as well. We chose Ala Carte instead of Buffet. You have choice and choose what you want. All dishes are tasty well prepared and moderately priced. The Staff are friendly and courteous.
