When traveling Hwy 101, Francesco’s is a convenient place to grab a slice of pizza to consume on the go. The establishment is strictly for take-out; room in front of the small counter only for a large soft drinks vending machine and two plastic chairs for waiting customers. Cash only. Standard pizza menu… less options than many other pizza places.
Of interest to me was the counter display of pizza slices ready to go for drop-in customers and travelers in a hurry. The display showed prices for 5 varieties… ranging from simple pepperoni & cheese ($2.71 + Tax) to “Ruby” ($3.87 + Tax)… but only three of the varieties were actually available to go when I dropped in. I chose the last remaining slice of meatlovers ($3.68 + Tax) and accepted the offer to have it reheated. The vending machine was out of order, so had to pick up a soft drink elsewhere.
The slice of meatlovers pizza was good, comparable to but not particularly superior to pizza that I have eaten in my travels elsewhere. The slice did have the benefit of not being overly greasy; just right for on-the-road consumption.

This is a local Timmins bakery but also offers sandwiches etc for the local lunch crowd. Bread are good but their sticky buns are to die for. High in carbs/sweets but simply moral raising.

Hey Budda Boom Budda Bing! We are the Home of All-You-Can-Eat soup or salad and garlic home loaf and offer delicious Italian meals at great value. At East Side Mario’s your family is our family and we are committed to deliver Amore in everything we do!
We had high hopes for trying this restaurant out after their big renovation. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. The food was decent - typical frozen food warmed up. Our waitress was nice but she was very slow moving. My cutlery was dirty and it took forever to get a new fork. It was so loud in there because the restaurant was packed but the worst part was the music blasting over all the people talking. It was obnoxious. It was a friend's birthday and they went to the wrong table ... although they quickly realized it was the wrong table, a few of the waitresses wouldn't stop laughing and turned away while singing to my friend. It was pathetic .

Always love to come here for the best Prime Rib dinner with authentic Yorkshire pudding. Service is very good! There is also a meeting area if needed for a gathering for a family dinner or business meeting. The appetizers are wonderful! My only complaint is the chairs which need updating as they are the most uncomfortable chairs I think I ever sat on. I wanted to ask for a folding chair from the adjacent meeting rooms!

I was in town for work, staying at the Microtel close by... I ordered the "THE BIG SMOKE SAMPLER" and I somehow managed to eat everything but the bread for the "Slider"... Good thing, since I had the 2 mini desserts, which were also delicious!
My friend had the Chicken Parmigiana, which he polished off with just enough room left for the skillet cookie dessert! He had no complaints at all. :-)
I'll most definitely return here next time I'm in town!

Ignore all the bad reviews and come try it for yourself! My meal was unbelievably delicious! The shrimp cocktail was just right: fresh and wonderfully cooked and then chilled shrimp. I hesitated about the lobster bisque. So my server, Shelly, brought me a sample. Really??!! Amazing service! The lobster bisque not only had a nice piece of lobster in it, it was also one of the best lobster bisques I’ve eaten! I then had the seafood platter: shrimp, scallops and halibut with a double baked potato. I don’t usually choose a baked potato but it was stuffed with Lobster and crab! The portion was very generous and everything was beautifully prepared. The accompanying vegetables, carrots and green beans, were crisp and very tasty. And then dessert: a delicious pecan pie with such a flaky crust. This restaurant could easily hold its own in Toronto or Montreal! An amazing meal! Thank you Shelly for amazing personable and friendly service!

Very disappointed. Everything seemed to be frozen junk and lukewarm at best. Tons of advertising saying how wonderful it is, but couldn’t come through with a decent meal. I’d love to say it was a bad night for them, but I gathered mediocrity is their norm ......

A Canadian chain with many locations.
Of course, went during lunch rush on a Sunday and waited 35 minutes for a table, but that is to be expected, and is not their fault at all. The food was amazing, my kids whom are picky eaters, ate everything off their plate. Got dessert and shared it with my spouse, it was huge and delicious, first time I have ever heard of a Mike's but I know when I travel if I see one, it be one of the first places I'll be stopping.
