This was a visit with my family and ordered the Zarandeado Fish, some tacos, schrimp, Tostadas de Ceviche and all were great. The zarandeado fish had the marinated flavor plus a nice smoky flavor, and for sure it was still swimming early in the morning!
Very nice place to visit and have a good luch or dinner, a little pricey for the area.

We were invited for lunch at this open air resturant by our host and we thoroughly enjoy it. We had some authentic food that tasted superb. The grilled fish is highly recommended here. It was a very pleasant experience for us

A very nice large home converted into a wonderful restaurant with an extensive wine list an a somalier to match. Fantastic service me very close to downtown for walking to your hotel.
Part of the gourmet festival from Puerto Vallarta. If you are looking for gourmet food in Tepic, look no further.

La comida es buena, sin embargo hay mejores. Los precios estan altos para lo que te sirven y cuando fui estaba en remodelación así que se veía sucio alrededor.

Located in heart of downtown..secure public parking as cheap as 8 pesos and the restaurant validates! Some locals took me here as I wanted some inspiration for Mexican vegetarian cooking. This has it in spades! High ceilings, quaint but not too quirky decor and completed committed to vegetarian options. Highlights were the carrot/raisin flan, jicama "ceviche", and bakery items (they run the bakery around corner). Wonderful use of texture and seasoning and yet it is all you can eat for $100 pesos!

This restaurant has been doing things so right that they have three branches in the city. They have great and fresh seafood with a nice atmosphere. Every branch has different atmosphere, for example if you are going with your family and children you have to go to Av. De la cultura, if you want to watch a soccer game or another tv show go to the main branch in av. Del valle. The price is fair for the quality and quantity. For us the favorite dishes are “tostada especial la olaa” and “chicharron de pescado”. When the owner is around the service is better. If you want to go there on Sunday make sure to don´t be starving as it gets crowd and there may be some queue. This is definitely one of my best recommendations for seafood restaurant in Tepic right now.

"A magical place full of flavor, color and charm"
A very groovy little place with a pizza oven serving top pizzas. Choose from Chica (small 300gms) or Grande (450 gms). Staff were very good, accepting our poor Spanish. Highly recommended for fellow Australian foodies! Cold beers, fresh ingredients & light Jazz in the background.
A little out of the way from Centro, out near the university, have the address handy to help the taxi driver out. 30 pesos trip.
Takeaway leftovers if you don't manage to finish it all!

The Picanteria is a place where you can come to gab , have fun , take a few beers , enjoy seafood and have a good time with friends.
The food here is ok nothing amazing thought. I had the sayulita shrimp they had an interesting combination of flavors, on the description it said that they where wrapped with bacon and stuffed with Philadelphia cheese mines came wrapped with bacon but no cheese. They also had a sweet and sour sauce on top I couldn't figure out what it was, it tasted like squished cranberries with raisins I don't know what it was but it was interesting I did like their Tamarindo Michelada thought it was really good
