A quaint restaurant and bar on the mountain with friendly staff and good service and tasty, fresh, 'pub' food. Can thoroughly recommend the Guiness Pie. The meals are large so make sure you are hungry before eating there! Good atmosphere in the restaurant and an outside deck to enjoy your pre dinner drink.

Patrons are welcome to join us Monday evenings for a board game night and on the second Sunday of the month for a informal classic car meet and eat when the weather is appropriate. We do experience a busy service period between 6:00-7:30pm on weekends and thankyou for your patience. Offering Delivery seven nights equipped with mobile EFTPOS facilities.
Went here on a Monday night because there just was not many places open to eat. We had calamari with a salad and a mushroom pizza along with a good bottle of organic wine.

We had a lovely time here. The Polish ambiance is charming . The food is good....
the view is amazing.....what particularly charmed us were the lovely young people, in traditional dress, who waited on our table .....they were engaging and we were on a day out....who cares about efficiency........( that sounds like work to me !! )
Those pesty little ( sugar addicted ) birds were also on a day out.... just say NO !!...
& they will try another table.

Songbirds' creative culinary team selects the finest ingredients and uses organic produce when possible. Meals are prepared in a fresh, innovative style and served in a beautiful environment. The menu changes frequently to ensure diners enjoy the freshest seasonal flavours. Restaurant open for lunch Wednesday to Sunday and dinners Friday to Sunday
Four of us dined at Songbirds last Friday for lunch. From the moment we sat down nearly everything was eschew. Wrong glasses for wine (champagne instead of wine). Wine was never once topped up, had to keep asking for more water, wrong orders, bread ordered was literally so old and dry you had to break it apart. When the correct order for a lamb dish arrived it was inedible. This restaurant used to have a good reputation- what has happened????? It is as though no one cares about anything at all.

City may just be Tamborine, or North Tamborine (even Mt Tamborine), rather than Eagle Heights.
If you want to experience a chef that has an absolute passion for his work, this is the place.
From the moment we entered and the chef shook our hands, introduced himself and welcomed us to sit on the big, comfortable lounges in front of the roaring open fire, we knew it was going to be a great night.
We ordered the 6 course degustation menu with matched wines and left the menu to the chef.
We had the most amazing 3 cheese soufflé, chicken with an unbelievable smoked eggplant mousse, perfectly cooked fish in a beautiful broth and the most tender beef ever (no steak knives needed). And the dessert was out of this world.
The matched wines were all perfect. The champagne was divine (I usually prefer a red wine).
Our waitress was so lovely and it was just an absolute joy to experience a warm and friendly workplace.
I can imagine having a special anniversary or reception party here.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Eleven out of ten.
We will definitely return.

I drove from Broadbeach To George's on Mt. Tamborine on the recommendation of friends. They assured me it would be worth the drive and I wasn't disappointed. Actually, it was one of the finest dining experiences I have had. It wasn't crowded. I understand the other locations usually have a waiting line. The personal attention we received was impressive. I had the Lamb fillets with red potatoes, broccoli, and carrots. I have lived in Greece and travel the world and have never had better. The couple who joined me had equally exceptional meals. If you are anywhere close you owe it to yourself to check it out!

After Curtis Falls finding this little Gem at the top was ideal.
Scones, cream and a great location that is set amongst some great trees etc..
Really enjoyed the location and definitely if you are up Tamborine Mountain way and feel a little peckish seek out Tea and Niceties!

Masala Shanti is an authentic Indian experience on Tamborine Mountain at the heart of the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. A family-owned and run restaurant, we take pride in great customer service, our use of fresh ingredients and delicious food.
I don’t often eat Indian food away from home ( I live between Leeds & Bradford) but this busy little restaurant looked inviting. We didn’t make a booking but they managed to fit us in. So I would probably recommend that you book, especially weekends. We had two courses each and a couple of sides. They were extremely busy but nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff. The coconut rice was delicious. And although not ‘home’ we thoroughly enjoyed all the food. Very generous portions. You can bring your own wine. But they also serve wines and offer a selection of beers and ciders. Constantly topping up your water. However it’s the staff that make the experience so much better. They are polite, attentive and extremely friendly. One young lady went to the trouble of writing down a recommended route for us to drive home the next day so we took in the best views. Another diner told us it’s the best Indian food on the Gold coat. I’ve not tried any others but would recommend here.

Three Little Pigs believes in providing impeccable service and a classic dining atmosphere.
We ate here on recommendation from Trip Adv and we were very happy with our choice. The place is frequented by locals which is good sign. Has a very modern but casual feel. Loved the deconstructed bruschetta. And really loved the pork belly. Wonderful crispy crackling skin and melt in your mouth flavorful pork - great combination. I closed my eyes each time I took a bite and chewed. Service was prompt, but not overly friendly which was different from everywhere else we visited in Mt. Tamborine, the whole town was filled with neighbourly people. Still recommend a visit.
