Zias is located in a beautiful heritage building in quaint small town Summerland. We offer a diverse menu with affordable options for everyone. We are more family than foodie and offer comfort and fine dining. We are set up to accommodate groups up to 50 with plate service, call for large party menus. Zias has live piano on the weekends when available. We have a fireplace in the winter and a patio in the summer.
My last review of Zia's was, apparently premature. On New years evening, we again chose The Stonehouse, this time for a birthday dinner.I was looking forward to a nice steak, unfortunately, the steak was undercooked. My medium rare was hardly rare. The steak knife was the wrong tool for the job. After a few minutes of looking around the table and being disappointed, we sent the steak back. It's never the same. The talk of the night was the food and how disappointed we were.

I was very excited to try this restaurant as I have heard many rave reviews. It wasn't great, it wasn't terrible. Just meh. The fish had a bit too much batter and not enough fish for my liking and the batter looked great but didn't have much of any flavour. The service was very good. I may try it again but I won't go out of my way to do so. It's ok.

The Okanagan has plenty of expensive pubs and restaurants which are pretentious and largely ignored by the local population. This is not one of them! Almost everyone in the pub seemed to be a local who knew that the food, prices and service were great all year round. The ambiance in this establishment comes from great people enjoying home cooked food and great service. We always pop in when we do a wine tasting tour and have not been disappointed. The meatloaf with real mashed potato and home made gravy was the best I have had in many years and the burgers were excellent. This is a proper small town pub and we will definitely be back.

Went for lunch today. Love their American there. Had the souvlaki wrap with olives instead of red onion and with a side of hummus..so delicious! At a reasonable $12 and came with fries, soup or salad. Highly recommend

We are a family owned and operated pizzeria offering pizzas, subs, salads, chicken wings, pastas and more for take out or Delivery. We now also have a small amount of Seating available for those who are on the go and want to stop for a moment
Their subs are the best and the Lunch Special- 2 large pieces of pizza and a can/bottle of pop/water for 5 Bucks is a great deal

Local is located on the west shore of Okanagan Lake in Summerland, BC. Since 2009, Local has been serving both quality interpretations of classic dishes and cocktails. Local on Lakeshore features an adult oriented restaurant. Local on Lakeshore's dining room is considered one of the Okanagan’s premier adult oriented restaurants that merges casual sophistication with an upbeat metropolitan style. Our 65 seat restaurant atmosphere is often described as an urban retreat with amazing views of the water and natural elements. Featuring a large selection of local BC VQA wines, innovative and Classic Craft Cocktails and a wide selection of BC Craft Brewed Draught Beers. coupled with a menu that blends classic global styles with seasonal fresh ingredients, and a passionate team delivering exceptionally delicious cuisine.
My wife and I enjoyed a nice dinner at Local. The potato chips with dip appetizer was a great treat and reminded me of the chips at Hotel de la Montagne in Montreal before it shut down. We split a Caesar salad that was fresh and tasty and started on a bottle of See Ya Later Ranch, Piont Noir... Yum. For our main courses we had the duck breast and the cherry ribs, both dishes exceeded our expectations by far. Overall this night was perfect for us and food and service at Local helped to make it so.

Seated right away and pleasantly greeted.
Offered drink pretty quickly while I browsed the menu.
Went with the Chicken Teriyaki lunch combo with Tempura and Rice. Also ordered the Yam roll.
The Yam roll, salad and Miso soup were out within 5 minutes. All very tasty. My lunch arrived shortly after that. Was fresh and tasty.
After tip it was a $20 lunch, well worth it though with the freshness and quality.
I would definitely return again.

This is absolutely a place not to be missed. The family winery, something you will talk about for the rest of your life
My husband & I greatly enjoyed our wine tasting at Silkscarf. The small tasting room was charming & cozy. The views of the valley were breath-taking. The knowledgeable & gracious host was the wine maker. He answered many questions about his exceptionally well-crafted wine. We could not resist purchasing a case of his elegant Chardonnay. We look forward to stopping by Silkscarf, the next time that we are in the area.

Got take out from this location for 3 adults and 2 kids. I don't know if there's much competition for Vietnamese restaurants in Summerland but this is probably the least good Vietnamese I've ever had.
We had the deep fried spring rolls, some type of pho in curry soup, grilled pork chop with rice and grilled chicken and pork patty on rice. Aside from the overcooked mushy rice and 4 cold, stale, cigar sized spring rolls, they tasted okay (but forgettable) and nowhere near the fragrant, fresh and heart warming food I had in Saigon last year.
Again, it was take out so we didn't experience the service. And soup noodles are not ideal to get as take out.
