Family run Bistro serving quality food at a fair price. Seats up to 50 persons in a typically French Provincial Bistro setting.
Cannot believe we’ve had a restaurant this good relatively close to our town and never been before.
It’s unpretentious but authentic cooking. All the dishes were divine and the service was friendly and unobtrusive- perfect. Great value wine list with clever buying of good quality wines.
For any Francophile it’s a little taste of France in Stourbridge. Go soon

Consistently good. Having been a customer for over 10 years, I have still yet to find a better Indian restaurant, local or afar. Still number one in my book!

I have been a regular for many years & under the old regime of Mel & his staff, the pub was always brilliant.
Tom & his team have very recently taken over & are quickly working up to speed.
The new food menu is now almost equally as good as before with promise of more to come in the near future.
A lot of people cry, it's not the same as before!
People "of a certain age" don't like change but they need to give the place a second visit instead of whingeing about slow service & a different menu. The service, in my experience, is super fast most of the time & when it slows down then we have to be patient because it's a very popular busy venue for lunch.
overall the Bull & Bladder is famous throughout the Midlands for it's excellent beer & good old fashioned style food.
Come & visit this black country pub, eat, drink, chat with the very friendly locals & experience a warm welcome from the staff.
Is this revue biased? Damned right it is because I love it :-)

Visited last night having read excellent reviews about the food and we were not disappointed! It was packed, not a spare table in sight which confirmed what a popular little place it is! Excellent menu, plenty of choice, superb beef Wellington and delicious desserts - including a cheese board where you can pick exactly what cheeses you want and what weight! My only tiny criticism would be that the starters and mains were served a little too close together which was a shame as I would have liked to have stayed there longer! Excellent service and lovely atmosphere. The owners should be very proud of what they have managed to create here - we will definitely be back!

Popped into Bangla on the off-chance, really pleased with the dining experience.
We decided to have combination dishes (a first )and really enjoyed the experience, Garlic Chicken & Naga Lamb with Lamb Rogan Josh & Chicken Tikka Madras served with Lemon Chilli Rice, Garlic Nan and Chips.
The staff were very helpful and attentive too, will definitely be coming back.

I love this place The food is wonderful and this coupled with great straff makes this a super restaurant.
Our yuk sung . ribs and fried fish were just superb as were our mains of fillet steak in a wonderful sauce, sweet and sour chicken and a superb chicken curry hot pot wiith vegetables. My friend loves the Chinese beer as does his wife and with very good wine that is very reasonably priced it is a superb night out for families , friends and couples.
The only thing I hate about this place is that it is about 25 miles from my home otherwise I would be there at least 4 times a week

I think the previous reviewer dined at the wrong restaurant as yet again the food and service were impeccable.
We dined here yet again over the weekend and we enjoyed a yummy yuk sung, perfect prawn satay and a cracking chicken curry.
The staff were very friendly as always and are more than happy for you to swap any dishes on the set menu if it’s not to your taste.

Blakey's is a regular must visit of ours. The whole experience here is one to savour and enjoy. The staff are freindly, attentive and polite, even at busy (almost always) times without being intrusive. Waiting for the excellent food to be freshly cooked only increases the pleasure of consuming it. If you like Indian food, Blakey's is the best.
