Wow! We had a fabulous dinner last night celebrating our anniversary and my husband’s birthday. Our server, Angel, expertly guided us through the menu pointing out the best dishes. I’m sure everything is amazing here, but we had/shared the Caprese Salad, Mushroom Ravioli and Rack of Lamb. The portions are generous, so sharing was perfect to sample a few items without being stuffed. The ravioli and lamb are definitely “last supper” worthy, melt in your mouth, perfectly cooked and seasoned. When we visit Collingwood again, we will be back!

Stopped in for a late lunch and we were glad that we went here. Terrific burger. Very tasty and a good portion. My friend had a grilled cheese that she thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant was extremely clean and service was good. Prices were very reasonable.

I always use the drive thru here and I have never had to wait very long for my order. The staff are friendly and provide great service.

I always dislike going into restaurants that are empty at lunchtime, especially when you pass by other options that are more fully patronized. Jong's came yup positive on Trip Advisor and we fancied Chinese food for lunch - so in we went.
We were greeted by a friendly lady who sat us down and brought us menus. We opted for the lunch special for two. It was a good offer with multiple dishes: soup, egg roll and three main dishes. The soup was excellent and the egg roll was home made and with fresh ingredients. The main dishes, pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls and spring vegetables with almonds were all very tasty and the portion bigger than we could manage. The tea was also delicious, not a tea bag in sight.
We felt that this is restaurant that makes an effort to produce traditional Chinese cuisine in the traditional way - a good model for other similar restaurants in small towns like Stayner, keep it fresh and tasty and people will come.

I've only had breakfast there and the food was just ok. On the upside, good thick slice of ham, nice home fries and toast, and the server was happy and friendly. But, the scrambled eggs tasted bland and a little off. My wife's soft poached eggs were hard. The orange slice garnish was dried out. The restaurant is dated and in need of a clean up and has seen its glory days.

Only 4* cuz nobody is perfect.
But, Anyone that thinks Pizza Dee's overpriced is not comparing apples to apples.
Cheaper pizzas are exactly that for a reason.
Pizza at Pizza Dee's is delicious. Hands down the best in town. The amount of toppings on any of their pizzas or in their panzerotti is incredible. If you order a pepperoni, mushroom and bacon pizza, every bite has all the toppings present. Other pizza places aren't like that. That's worth an extra buck or two to me.
I have eaten almost everything on that menu at one time or another and have never been disappointed. Not once.

Was in the mood for some ice cream and dropped into Grandma’s while out for a cruise. I was surprised to see that this friendly little shop is open year round! I ended up with and amazing chocolate dipped waffle cone with a generous scoop of Tiger Tail ice cream...mmmmmm! Then purchase 6 homemade butter tarts and some chocolate oranfe swirl fudge which was amazing. We met the owner who is a super nice guy and we will be returning when that urge for something sweet hits!

Opened in 2010. Postal Code = L9Z 2C9
Pad Thai and Mango Chicken were tasty, but a bit skimpy on the meat. Chicken was flat, processed variety rather than fresh. Regular patron we were with said portions were smaller than in past. Also, you would think that a bowl of rice would be included (with Mango Chicken) without having to pay an extra $2.

We could all use a bit of culture from time to time and I can recommend one place in Stayner, Ontario, to get it.
Coffee Culture Cafe and Eatery is on the north side of the east end of Downtown Stayner. You come to it as you enter Stayner, going west, on Highway 26. If you go too far, you will see Aarden's Chocolates store on your right, but Coffee Culture is difficult to miss.
This restaurant is on a corner and if you turn north, you might find a parking spot immediately across from the restaurant's east end, where they have some umbrellas over patio tables. Otherwise, it's a matter of finding a parking spot in the downtown area.
Coffee Culture has been in Stayner for about 10 years, I reckon, and judging by the lunchtime crowd there today this restaurant has earned its popularity stripes. Culturally, it's a friendly place and I saw a Roger Moore – the famous documentary maker – look-alike while I was there. Or, perhaps it was really Roger Moore!
Service starts at a cafeteria-style counter where you place your order after figuring out what's what from signboards behind this counter. I could see that the salads, being served to patrons ahead of us, were looking good. But we opted for the Asiago Sandwich special which came in under six dollars per person in price. This Sandwich is a BLT...bacon, lettuce and tomato on a bun...and freshly prepared.
We ordered coffee. It was made for us at the counter and brought to us after we ordered the rest of our lunch and paid for it. The lady at the counter gave us a little holder which had the number 10 on it and we took it to our table.
A little while passed, quite acceptable in terms of time frame, and our sandwiches, along with a small bowl of salad, arrived. On a scale of one to 10, with 10 being the best, our sandwiches scored a 10! Very tasty and healthy....with all the food groups.
I was surprised that they don't come around with coffee refills, but they were quite busy at the counter taking orders and looking after patrons.
Stayner is an interesting spot and on some evenings they have free Concerts and a market in the little park across the street from Coffee Culture.
The Town of Stayner's motto is “Town of Friendly People”. For certain, that's the case, along with the good sandwiches and salad, in Coffee Culture.
