Four of us visited on Mother’s Day. As expected it was absolutely packed in there. No empty tables anywhere and the atmosphere was spot on. The food was incredible. We had a couple of options from the specials menu and the rest from the main...MoreHi Louise. Thanks for your lovely review, it's greatly appreciated. We've been working on the GF bread recipe so I'm glad you have noticed the improvement. Hope to see you again soon.

Set in the picturesque village of Offord D'Arcy between St Neots and Godmanchester, The Horseshoe successfully combines an old village pub and a gourmet restaurant. Known locally as The 'Shoe, the Grade 2 listed 395-year old period building has been extended but retains its original features and charm. The bars offer both low ceilings and rustic style, with exposed beams and Inglenook real fireplaces, whereas the restaurant has a part vaulted ceiling and a more recent design. The frequently changing menu allows you to experience internationally influenced dishes as well as the best of British cuisine. Dishes often carry a wine recommendation to help you choose the right selection. For around £25 to £30 per person, you can enjoy a three-course meal here, and should you choose something you don't like, they will offer you another choice! The Horseshoe really is lucky after all!
Went for Sunday carvery; first time after several years. Greatly improved! Spacious layout, decent sized tables, evident management presence, well run establishment, organised no-queuing carvery system, sensible menu and wine list, reasonable prices. Spotless tables, efficient staff.
There were a few points which are a matter of taste: we thought the carvery beef was too rare for our preference, and all of the main course was not quite hot. (This is a difficult one to get right in a carvery.) Waiting staff polite, enthusiastic and efficient but inclined to pass plates to diners for them to pass on to next person.
They have a call-device on the tables for you to summon a waiter / the bill / the manager etc, but it seemed to us to be very dirty and unhygenic: the plastic buttons are probably quite difficult to get gravy stains out of. Great idea in principle, but ugh.
£131 plus tip ("We don't get the tip if you put it on the debit card.") for two courses and two bottles of wine and four coffees.
We enjoyed the meal. We believe they do two sittings for Sunday lunch, 12:00 and 14:00.

We are a family run traditional English pub, serving a selection of beers wines and spirits as well as guest ales and ciders from local Breweries. We strive for a fun and friendly relaxed atmosphere as our main focus is the community around us in our small village. Our fantastic sized beer garden is a great place to relax in the summer time and likewise our heart warming fireplace and cosy sofas are perfect for a winter warmer. We are also proud to represent our local petanque, darts and crib teams. Look out for the quiz night every Sunday night, live music nights once a month as well as discos, karaoke nights and charity fundraisers. In 2014 we won the Huntingdonshire Camra Community Pub of the Year
Top quality fantastic meat, couldn't possibly ask for better. The bell know how to handle their meat better than anyone and the meat they produce is second to none. May the bells meat reign supreme among all the neat houses of the land........THE BELL IS THE BEST!!!!!!!

We have a cosy resaurant situated on Cambridge road in St.Neots opposite the Ford Garage. We serve traditional Thai food cooked by our family of Thai chefs. We invite you to come and try our authentic Thai cuisine made with love.
Been here quite a few times in the past. The welcome and the service were as friendly and efficient as always, the food was first class and the price was very reasonable. What more to say?

Came here this evening and it’s still up to its high standards! We have the set menu and swap seaweed for prawn crackers and black bean chicken for lemon chicken. The food is always to delicious, hot and full of flavour. The Thai red curry is to die for, never too spicy and full of beef! My partner loves the sweet and sour chicken hong Kong style. Always a tasty Chinese that never disappoints! Always cooked to perfection and the customer service is always fantastic. They always remember us and asks us how we are. Will always return!

Just opened yesterday
We had some family visiting from the States so wanted to go to a local decent quality restaurant and we were not disappointed! From the start the knowledge of the waiter of the wines, letting us taste them before deciding to announcing the specials was great. All the way through to the end service was just on point. Food was homemade, fresh you could tell and overall staff were very attentive. We will definitely go back again!

Our party of 3 arrived at 8.30 and were seated upstairs after about 5 minutes. Sat at the table for about 10 minutes and had to go to the bar to ask if we could order food and drinks. Only 2 of our drinks arrived so had to go to the bar to ask for our 3rd. Food came out fairly quickly and was nice, but nothing special. No one checked if our food was ok or offered us another drink, which I think is poor service. Asked for the bill only to find that we had been charged extra for a drink we hadn’t ordered. All in all not a great experience and we will not be returning.

An independent village pub/restaurant focussing on good homemade food with a modern style. Relaxed atmosphere and good selection of wine. Please note we close in the afternoon between 3pm and 6pm and do not serve food on a Sunday evening
They must be doing something right, because on a Tuesday night they were full. You can't avoid the feeling that the place is run for the staff and their mates. their clothing, their showing to one another of holiday vids with a loud sound track,...MoreWe are sorry to hear about your visit on Tuesday, our staff have been made aware of your comments

Quite a small cafe with a 'vintage' theme. There are a few artefacts to suggest the period including a lot of forties/fifties style mirrors on the wall and a Singer sewing machine, but it doesn't really carry it off. There are China cups and saucers and proper teapots, but the tea is still teabag tea. We had scones and tea, which was quite nice.
It was busy when we visited, so it clearly is popular with locals.
