Viking Restaurant Harald. Located right in the heart of the city centre, Viking Restaurant Harald serves up the very finest the forest and waters have to offer - just like in the days of the ancient Northern adventurers. The menu has meat and fish in its many forms, but not even the Vikings would have been to make their epic journeys without a healthy dose of vegetables, not to mention a mouthwatering dessert.Aurakatu 3 20100 Turku. Opening hours mon-thu 11-24, fri 11-01 sat 12-01, sun 15-22
Not my first visit to Harald, and not my best visit. The service was great, attentive but not intrusive. The food lacked the attention to detail that I’ve seen before; the tasting board starter felt thrown together rather than artistically placed. The main had the smallest piece of chicken breast that I’ve ever seen.

Whether you choose lunch or dinner this place will never fail you with their food! Service is professional and the waitresses know which wine to recommend. Kitchen will also listen if you may have any special diets, and make changes to their dishes accordingly.

Blanko has been local favourite since 90's(?) and no wonder. Great location next to Aura River and short walk away from City Center/Market Square. They have popular Terrace outside during summertime and large restaurant inside, offering also views to the River. Friendly service and Menu from burgers to steaks and also several Vegan options. My Lamb Salad for starter and Chicken Tortelloni for main course were tasty. Main Courses are between 16-31€

I was in Turku for a business trip. I had read good reviews so went here for dinner. It was a fair walk out of the city centre on a wet and cold evening. The restaurant was reasonably busy but with at least 6 empty tables. I asked for a table for one. The waitress said that was OK, but after consulting with a colleague she said there was no room. I asked if the tables were reserved. She looked embarrassed and said no. Clearly one diner effectively blocks a seat so I can understand that on economic grounds, but it was embarrassing for me. So if you are in Turku on your own, go to one of the many other welcoming places.

Had a fantastic meal here recently. While others had three courses, I was satisfied with ordering just the main of fried trout. There was more than enough and it left me room for the most delicious dessert I have had in a long time. The two types of bread served with the meal were really delicious, too. My only 'gripe' would be one that is consistent with a number of Finnish restaurants at this level. That is, the accompanying veggies are usually sparse or don't quite go with the meal. For the price of the main course, you should expect, and receive, more than a couple of slices of daikon and a piece of bok choy.
Overall, the service, the dessert and the bread more than made up for this minor deficiency.

I came here with my family and we really enjoyed it. The pizza was genuine Italian tasting, thin crust, great tomato sauce. We also had steak and "hot dog". All were excellent. Service was amazing, especially for Finland in that it was fast and efficient.

I took my family for special Mother's Day dinner to E.Ekebom and it turned out to be an ecellent choise. There's plentiful of good restaurants along the riverside in Turku and E.Ekebom can easily be missed as you pass by as there isn't really any big signs outside and the entrance is quite modest. However the place is quite big and the interior is just great. They have managed to preserve the old cellar and made it into a moder restaurant and bar. I'd been there before just for some drinks, so this was my first chance to try out their food.
The service was really good and the waiter excellent. He could advice us both on the meal as well as the wine options. All the food we had was good for all the sences. The cellar has several different rooms and we had a peaceful corner of ourselves.
We had such a good time and it was a perfect Mother's Day dinner so I'm sure we'll be back soon again.

This place was nice but considering the price level I expected something a little more special. The pizza was nice (in the picture: Merikapteeni; Sea Captain) but honestly I could've had it anywhere. The atmosphere of this place was nice with it's fun, rustic interior decoration and candles. Overall, we ended up having a really nice time but I think most of that had to do with the company I was in.

Mexican fast-casual taqueria in heart of Turku. We serve tacos and burritos made by fresh ingredients with self made corn tortillas to make the authentic mexican flavor. It`s Taco Time!
I've visited Taco Nito many times and recommend it for anyone for its authentic, fresh food and excellent service. The corn tacos make a light lunch, the full size burrito is sometimes too much. Fresh guacamole tomato salsa and sauces made in-house, corn tacos, as well. Eat in or take away. Also supported by Wolt and Foodora home Delivery service. Specialities include "nopalitos" cactus filling and Mexican (chorizo like) sausage filling.
