Hunting Horn Guest-house Our inn offers well-equipped, carefully furnished and spacious rooms and is located in the green belt environment of Sopron, but it is also close to the centre of the town. Huge selection of wines. We would like to recommend our wide variety of winey to your attention. 80% of our wine selection can be tasted by only a single glass, which is quite unique! Extraorninary selection of hungarian wines, wine tastings, wine dinners
A quaint family run restaurant and B&B in a quiet residential neighborhood near downtown Sopron. The husband serves the food while the wife cooks. There are quite a few excellent restaurants in Sopron, but this one may be the best. They serve traditional Hungarian fare. The carp soup with beans and cabbage is outstanding. All of the portions are generous. They have a great selection of Hungarian wines. When we asked about the red wines, the owner brought us three different wines to try gratis. All were excellent. The owner speaks excellent English. The wall is plastered with culinary awards. You can easily taste how they earned them. Prices are amazingly modest.

The many pastry choices are excellent , made with the best ingredients. The seasonal choices ,like strawberry now ,are fantastic.
The atmosphere is classic European, lovely and the outside area is a great spot to just sit and people watch. I have been coming to this place every time i visit Sopron....must be twenty years or so....and it never dissapoints.

Good wood fired pizza. Only have German menu so pizza toppings were a surprise.
Service ok a bit slow. Good spot for a beer or glass of wine. English was not in use here. Ordered a salad but was lost in translation..never arrived!
Dinner with wine about ten bucks!

We didn't have reservation, but we were lucky we had a table for two despite it was a Saturday night. The staff is more than friendly and nice.
The meals are very tasty and served nicely. The dumplings were amazing with peach inside.
This restaurant is in the city, you can park near to it on the street.
They have rooms as well.
The restaurant is recommended.

During our short stay in Sopron, we tested the top restaurants here: this steakhouse won't disappoint you (maybe just a bit). Service, pries and the atmosphere are all good, however the steaks we tested were not excellent: maybe this is a one-off glitch, but instead of medium, all 3 were slightly over-cooked. In case of steaks, even seconds count, and these steaks were not perfect, sorry. You may find other food as well, but most probably you visit a steakhouse for the variety of steaks. Wine-list is OK, you can find a good match with steaks.

We travelled across the border from Austria to Hungary for a day and chose this cellar restaurant for lunch. Great selection of dishes, huge servings and really delicious! Really lovely atmosphere with red and white checked tablecloths and brick vaulted ceiling. Definitely a good choice!

Authentic local restaurant, located in the the center of Sopron. They serve authentic local food, with big portions. The food is nicely made with fair prices. They also offer good value lunch menu and free parking possibility next to the restaurant. The staff is very nice. I definitely recommend it.

One of the top 3 restaurants in old Sopron. Looks like an English pub but the food is excellent homey Hungarian - soups, goulash, salads, schnitzel. German and English understood (and English spoken if you get the young brunette waitress who is always running). Excellent beer and wine selection, Go to register at end of meal to pay if they do not bring the check,

Good location, but outside of the city center (20 mins walk). Hungarian atmosphere, good service with a lot of explanation for the non-Hungarians. Menu not too fancy or long, but enough selection (except maybe for desert). Good wine list. Prices higher than average, but still very acceptable (ca. 20€ per person, incl. a bit of wine) ans shared desert. Recommended.

Four of us had a relaxed lunch at this establishment on a Saturday. The food is of highest quality, beautifully presented and with a fair price. Worthy of special mention are the Magalica pork and the goose dishes. The waiter was knowledgeable about the food...MoreDear Guest! Thank You for Your recommendation! Erhardt’s Team
