Well, the restaurant looks fine, the staff is welcoming (but in think not completely aware of their role with customers and not completely well trained for service).
The meal was ok (but far from excellent) yet very well presented in our plates.
There are some indian dished, but they are not so tasty (maybe spices were not adequate or not quite fresh, i can't tell)
the desert menu was not inviting. So we skipped it.
Besides, there is some lack of professionalism in the service which spoiled a bit my experience : waiters passing in front of our table with a big box of used plates, and a nearby restaurant table that was used for sorting the mess.
The garden could be better lighted because i think it is worth it.
And the bill was quite high compared to other fine dining restaurant in Yogya.
So I was disappointed overall. Not in my top ten restaurant in Yogya.
Sorry, I am just trying to be fair.

Looking for good seafood restaurant in nice ambience.
Chose Jambaran after Reading reviews on different seafood restaurants near Depok.
We chose 2 small crabs done in black pepper , red grouper grilled , big clams in sweet sauce, kangkong fried in garlic . Adding steam rice for 3 of us, a beer , coconut juice, lime juice , the total cost is about 580,000 rupiah.
As there is no menu , we get the service staff to tell us the price of each type of seafood ordered.
The only setback of the meal is there are smoker diners around which makes dining quite uncomfortable. It is a good thing that we are almost finish when they arrived.
Overall happy with the food and service.

The concept is pretty simple, you eat shrimps (fried of honey grilled) and fish, in a local atmosphere of small open cottage in the water. The food is good and you can't get enough of their shrimps.

NANAMIA PIZZERIA - Traditional Pizza for Modern People- Offers authentic Italian food at an affordable local price.Established in 2007, Nanamia Pizzeria has been offering real authentic Italian food for more than ten years. We are located on Jl. Mozes Gatotkaca B 9-17, Gejayan, in the heart of the city, and Jl. Tirtodipuran 1 in the south of Yogya. Our classic wooden furniture combined with our personal touch of Mediterranean interior design makes Nanamia Pizzeria a sophisticated ambience and oasis for all lovers of authentic Italian food. We take it for granted that our chefs only use fresh and original ingredients (without MSG) and recipes. This, in combination with the traditional cooking techniques such as the wood fire pizza oven, as it has been done for centuries in Italy, will make your stay at Nanamia Pizzeria a memorable culinary evening.
Yes it is Italian, but this is REAL Italian! Delizioso! We had pizza peperoni, pasta pesto, pane d'aglio and of course... Tiramisu. My son loved the banana milkshake, and theres quite selection of yummy drink available. Good food, tasty, and affordable.
Great ambiance and music, definitely will be back here again and again whenever i am in town.

If you are vegetarian or mushroom lover need to try this. They substitute so many meat in Indonesia traditional dishes just with mushrooms. And the taste are so good. The place has good ambiance for family and friends gathering too.
If you don't like mushrooms don't worry Now they served more selection of food like fried chicken too.

The menu has a great variety of Indonesian, Chinese and Western food. The food is very good, reasonably priced, the beer is cold and the ambience is excellent. There was a very good band playing every time we ate here. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Yogyakarta.

Also with the boutique underneath it. There's nothing wrong for having such a classic interior restaurant that serve nice European food. So it is a good balance with such a great royal experience with the museum tour. Food was delicious, average fast service, moderate price and ut could have been perfect if they have 1 or 2 more waitress to seeve the customer. The coffee n dessert was good too. Must stop here even just for snacking with coffee or tea after u visit the museum. Take the outdoor Seating looking at the museum area is best spot you can take. Open only until before 5PM same time with the museum operating hour.

Really nice restaurant to eat in with it's unusual but Central Java themed decoration. There is an outdoor area to at the back with fish ponds and huts, but we decided to eat in the main part of the restaurant.
We ordered gurame goreng (fried fish) with fried tempe, vegetables, fried chicken thigh with rice and mushroom fritters with a fruit tea. The food wasn't the best I have eaten but still quite alright and most importantly the lids like it.

To reach this restaurant, we will go along country roads winding up Boko hills located at an altitude of 196 meters above sea level, so it features the best views at the moment over Yogyakarta city. Its location close to Adisutjipto Airport and situated in the area of the world heritage makes it is one of new choices for tourism destinations. Being named Abhayagiri (a vihara on a peaceful hill) will add comfortable and soothing atmosphere increasingly felt after passing through the gate of Sumberwatu Heritage resort where this restaurant located. An icon of Javanese buildings that is shaped like a large and magnificent Joglo pendopo (Javanese traditional verandah) with elegant old wooden moldings. Combined perfectly with classic batik tiles, lightened by the lamp of President Soekarno’s legacy, it presents a view directly towards Prambanan Temple, Sojiwan Temple, and the background of Mount Merapi gallantry. When stepping further to Abhayagiri Restaurant, friendly greeting of Sumberwatu Heritage staff gives special warmth when we firstly step into it.The expertise of Abhayagiri Restaurant chef in combining local ingredients with international flavors will produce dish that is not only delicious but also looks attractive in its serving. As an additional value of Sumberwatu Heritage resort, we serve culinary catering (banquette) service at the location of Barong Temple, surrounding temples, or any cutomers’ desirable locations for company’s meetings or private event.Chicken Steak Teriyaki, Abhayagiri Duck Speciale, and Pan Roasted Salmon as main menu, quick and attentive service from the staff will make the dining at Abhayagiri Restaurant as a culinary experience that has distinctive impression and class.Food Price: IDR 15,000 - IDR 430,000
Traveling to Jogja on December, after visited Prambanan, RatuBoko and any statue around Sleman the last I tried to eat at This Resto. Ala-Carte is not allowed, waiters offer me a buffet with 250k or 300k (i don't remmember). its made me little bit disappointed because I don't need a lot of food because I just had lunch at RatuBoko resto.
I thought, Oke no problem and I wish the food would be yummy but yeeeah, just normal cuisine not special enough. I try to make a comparison with Ratu Boko Resto which has the same tipe of aspect (Scenary & Location) but we can order ala-carte there. Just it
But Abhayagiri still recommended especially for new experience and photo session like prewedding. one more, credit point for the waiters friendly Greeting, Beauty and Helpful.

- banana milk is great
- KitKat milk is also great!
- coffee comes with lots of sugar. Even when they brought a new one with clear request of no sugar, still way too sweet
- klappertaart is terrible! Comes from the freezer and isn't made with baby coconuts. I am used to Manado klappertaart so I am spoiled
- service is so-so. Slow and reactive
