The location was great, very helpful service and value for money. We ordered a lobster pasta, which was a great choice. However, for 6 Greek people who eat a lot, wasn't enough. But Manolis, offered us a lot of extra Deserts for free.

I ordered souvlaki at the hotel.....it was ok ....but guess.....they did not bring a receipt......so always ask for a real receipt....the danger of a ripoff is always there especially during crisis......REAL RECEIPT NOT A FAKE PAPER WITH NUMBERS!...AVERAGE FOR THIS REASON!

Best coctail bar with fine music tunes of jazz ambient soul music. Try all the daquiries especially strawberry. Anna is the person that you must meet full of energy and humor.

We visited here after looking on TA. The food is lovely but a bit limited for vegetarians. Its obviously popular as we were almost sitting on the street! Traditional fare and i'm sure will have a more expansive menu in high season.

Boring typical Greek restaurant. Tasteless beetroot salad, average grilled chicken chops and tasteless cucumber and tomatoes in all salads. Place is humble, fast service, close to the main road.

we've been here again after last year..this time one time only and we really enjoyed it...the roof are is superb for enjoying the evening
the fish is very good and we actually popped in ONLY for the lobster which has been confirming the quality level....
then family running the business are super cool as they called me to confirm they got the lobsters
get the local skyros sauvignon blanc together with it
ONLY one issue about the prices...i honestly remember it slightly better last summer 2015....perhaps i'm wrong but i had the idea the prices were more fair

What can I say for this lovely "taverna". This place is like a dream, located beside the sea with a lovely view toward "chora", making you feel sooo relaxed. We visit the place each year during our vacation in Skyros in different hours, during breakfast or lunch or dinner... In the morning is wonderful having a hot "ladopita" with white cheese or honey, the kids are really mad about ladopita at any time of the day, for lunch a great variety of original Greek dishes like "gemista" (stuffed tomatoes or peppers), lamp etc. are available and very well cooked but by far their best dish is the spaghetti with lobster "astakomakaronada" as they call it, but is better to order it one day earlier because is not always available. The fishes and the seafood are always very fresh (the owner is a fisherman and is bringing the fishes and lobsters each day). The prices are very reasonable for the quality offered.
The service is friendly and the cooking is a family matter... We highly recommend it!!!!

At the beach area of Magazia just below Skyros town, with several hotels, there is a surprisingly small choice of eating places. In fact, besides a not very inviting small Café-Ouzeri, one can only go to the restaurant 'Stephanos', unless one walks for about 15 minutes towards the Chora or the beach area of Molos.
'O Stephanos' has a very attractive, slightly elevated Terrace just by the beach. And for once no annoying background music, just the sound of the waves. With all the hotels in Magazia this place is naturally very popular, also with foreigners, and I was surprised that there was only one waiter around, taking care of the many occupied tables. He did a great job, but more staff would have been appreciated.
On the menu-card there are several typical cooked Greek dishes, but a lot of items were not available during my visit. And when it came down to fresh fish and seafood, the place only had lobster, red mullet and the best kind of breams on offer, so just the most expensive on the market.
The wine-list is very small: only two bottles of red and two of white. They have open housewine, of which the red one also gets served ice-cold. On the other hand there is a surprisingly big list of different ouzo and tsipouro. I tried an excellent Idoniko Tsipouro from the Macedonian town of Drama.

A small restaurant/ caffe/snack bar next to the beautiful sandy beach of Magazia. During the day it offers umbrellas and sunbeds, at no cost, plus drinks and snacks.Lunch time and evenings it has a good selection of beautifully cooked food at AMAZINGLY low prices. The staff is very pleasant and helpful and it makes for a lovely day by the sea with good food of you choice.
