We visited this restaurant twice. The food was great and the staff were friendly. The salted sardine was a great local dish -traditional style, as was the big beans! -wonderful!
The meat with peppersauce was lovely as was the courgettes - great for veggie options. Overall, a lovely evening.

We have always called into 'Margaritari' at least once, on our regular Lesvos vacations. The visit is enjoyable particularly because I would have driven down from our resort, Petra, a sightseeing journey of some 90 minutes, and therefore ready for a relaxing slump on one of the settees. The Cafe, like several others along the Promenade, has a 'terrace' built out over the beach, and the sound of the sea swirling below, never fails to soothe. Over the past 15 years, I guess the ownership has changed four times, but, all have been careful not to introduce anything to spoil the place. We both shared a large Greek Salad, following it with a wonderful Lemon Tart, for my Wife, and I swooned over a Chocolate Brownie, followed by a coffee each. Suitably recharged, I was ready for the drive back to Petra, but, already looking forward to returning to 'Margaritari' before the end of the season.

Adonis restaurant is a beautiful place to taste original greek dishes as well as fresh seafood! All the staff are very welcoming and the place is just perfect to combine great food....sea....sun and ouzo! Definatelly a place you should visit!

A limited seasonal menu served a funky courtyard by Gabi who is Austrian and cooked by her Greek husband Ioannis. Speedy service and some unusual dishes such as garlic sweet potato dip. Nice to get away from the beachside more touristy haunts for an evening.

A lovely restaurant location, with amazing views on the sea front. Food was very traditional. Excellent kleftiko( mamas last one!!). The waiters were fantastic. So helpful. Just the sort of experience I hoped for on Greece. Let's hope the media coverage doesn't affect this wonderful island. Highly recommended. (Apart from the dry house wine, give it a miss!!!)

This cafe is located on the beach at Eressos near the loungers. The lovely Patricia and her daughters run the place. Simple but hearty salads & sandwiches. Cold drinks, wine and beer. Wonderful place to sit, chat & watch the sun go down. Ambient world music. Open from breakfast.

Visited with wife upon recommendation. Staff are great, as is the location. Lovely ambience and fab for people watching.
Prices are more UK than Greece, which is ok as also paying for the location/vibe.
Cocktails are really tasty. But they need more Oomph with higher alcohol levels. I want a good buzz from my cocktail. These are more of an appetiser.

The Buddha bar is located at the extremity of Skala Eressos (little harbor side) and just opposite the rock in the sea.
The food is rather of Italian cuisine, everything was excellent (very good Prosecco).
The waitresses are very friendly, and and there is always some "zen" music.
Some evenings music bands are invited and it's party time, but always with soft music.
The breakfast is also excellent.
A must in Skala Eressos.

Every time we come to Skala Eressos we say we'll try this place, but today we finally did. The owners were extremely welcoming, as they are always, even when we walk past and don't dine there.
We had yemista, stuffed tomatoes and peppers, steak, chips, half litre red wine, beer and water. The food was very nicely cooked and the bill was €25. There is a beautiful view over the sea and the restaurant is set on stilts on the beach, alongside many others. There is usually octopus hanging out to dry on the line and today was no exception. This can be a little off-putting if you are veggie like me!
This was in the middle of a 38 degree heatwave, and ceiling fans were operating overhead keeping the diners cool. The kitchen of the restaurant felt scorching as I went into the back though. How they managed to cook and serve meals with a smile, I don't know! Greek music was playing, the waves were crashing, just beautiful.
