Probably come here every 3 months or so. Food never disappoints. Innovative - dishes you just don’t get elsewhere. Love the quaintness, even the outside loo. For a Thursday night out of season fully booked says it all. Upset at being kept waiting 25 minutes and more for the bill.

We dined at the Upchers during our two day stay at the Dales Country House Hotel.
The Upchers restaurant is excellent. The menu offers a great range of dishes of both local and more traditional produce. The dishes that we had were absolutely delicious and on par with the very best that we have had in the UK. The presentation is first rate and the portions provided are just right.
We found the wine prices on the expensive side.
The breakfast menu is equally impressive and sets you up for the day ahead.

We went here for dinner whilst visiting Sheringham and the food was fantastic.
We had the crab cakes to start (delicious sauce), the steak with mushrooms and blue cheese for main (I'm not normally a blue cheese fan but this was mixed up on the sauce so you didn't have the flavour of it very much) - again the sauce it came with was delicious and the steaks were cooked exactly as we asked.
For dessert we had a plain baked cheesecake with a warm caramel sauce. Tasty but not as strong as the first two courses for me - I found the cheesecake a little rich and the biscuit base was too hard.
Overall I'd thoroughly recommend!

We only popped in for coffee as we had already eaten, but the dishes that were coming out looked and smelt lovely it was very busy. Our cappuccino was lovely with a little biscuit on the side. Would go back again and try something to eat.

Marmalade's is a small, charming, husband and wife run restaurant in a beautiful seaside town. Perfect for romantic meals, special occasions and family gatherings. The food is homely, yet elegant and the wine list is extensive with something special to suit all budgets. Marmalade's is available for private hire and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. If you have any questions or special requirements then don't hesitate to ask our friendly team.
Staying in a local hotel we booked a table at this very busy and highly recommended restaurant.
We were not disappointed, the food was well presented and tasty. Exceptional quality fresh produce used.
Great value for money, considering the quality. Friendly and efficient staff.
Definitely deserves a visit.

We are open for lunch, serving mainly a selection of British Food.In the evening we serve our Asian menu.
Place has been redecorated and doesnt feel so austere. Could probably do with some mood lighting to make it more relaxing. Service is good and the quality of the food is very good. Pricing is fair. I certainly recommend the place

Cafe bistro serving good home cooked food
My partner and I were passing by and were pleasantly surprised to see they offered vegan options and cater for gluten free. We popped back the following afternoon around 2 and were very impressed that they had Seating outside as we have a small dog. We were even happier when the very friend waiter said we were all welcome to sit inside.
Inside the café the decor was very tasteful, clean and bright looking. It was nice to see that they also had a food hygiene rating of 5. The menus are clearly displayed on the wall with breakfast, lunch, drinks, cakes and more. The vegan and gluten free options were clearly labelled and there was plenty of options.
I ordered the vegan roast veg wrap which came with chips and salad, all very delicious. I would've liked some sort of sauce inside the wrap (maybe sundried tomato) but that's just person preference. We were offered sauces for the table. My partner had scrambled egg with potatoes and chorizo and absolutely loved it.
The prices were extremely reasonable and you get nice big potions (not too big but nicely filling) for your money. We both got cake to take away. I had the vegan apple toffee cake which was again a good size and very delicious. My partner ordered the blueberry and lemon cake. He is yet to try it but it looks amazing.
Very impressed with the food, service and prices. Hoping to go back before our short trip to Norfolk is over.

We're keeping the tradition of the English pub alive with every pint we pour. The moment you walk through our door, you'll think that you've just been transported back to a better, simpler time. But our assortment of the finest contemporary local brews, our extensive spirits collection, and our modern take on traditional English cuisine tells a different story. You've actually stumbled upon the best of both old and new, all under one roof.
This is a fantastic country pub with beautiful decor, delicious food, and attentive staff. In particular Danielle is absolutely lovely and does everything to make sure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable time. Highly recommended!

Visited this pub because they had BT Sports and wanted to watch the Tottenham game. Decided to stay and have the Sunday lunch and it proved a wise decision. Very friendly and helpful staff, a good smattering of locals and an excellent Sunday roast. Unfortunately they offered only two choices - beef and pork and had run out of the latter (hence not a five star review), but the beef was well cooked and the accompanying vegetables varied, plentiful and tasty. At only £10.95 very good value for money, in an area where roasts are usually £13+. Well worth a visit.
