We dined in the 錦鴻世家 restaurant located in the hustle and bustle of Shaoguan City. The food was good and authentic, some of the dishes were spicy which suit our taste. The chicken was good and the fish was fresh, overall the food was very good. The service was on average, waiters did not treat us attentively and they could have done a better job in accommodating and serving us as we are a big party from a tour. The ambience was okay, not much garbage and no people surrounding the restaurant, so we got the 2nd floor of the restaurant all for our tour (the 1st floor is for the other customers dining in the restaurant). The price was reasonable and the food was not expensive. Overall, a good experience in this restaurant before leaving Shaoguan and ending the tour in Shenzhen, a 4.5 hour drive.
