My family were staying close to Sever do Vouga for our holidays in early September 2015. One evening we decided to chance this restaurant and boy were we in for a banquet! In fact we went to eat twice at this restaurant: it is that good.
The young hostess and other staff are charming and very helpful. The restaurant does Brazilian and Portuguese food and that makes for great tasty dishes. Dishes are beautifully cooked and presented.
An abundant 3 course meal with either meat on the spit or nice fish as main for 2 adults, as well as 3 courses for 2 children will cost you an unbelievable Euro 55 in total. That includes soft drinks water and a bottle of wine. Try to beat that for super good food.
Highly recommended.

We went to Quinta do Barco twice as we didn't have many other options in the rural area that we were in. It was a nice atmosphere with really good food. Enjoy!

Excellent portuguese / regional food from Center of portugal; good meat dishes. Plenty of excellent quality food, one portion is enough for two people. Excellent value for money, price of each portion around 9 to 13 euros, max. Located just outside the A25 motorway, take exit Talhadas

We dropped there as invitees of Town Hall, and it rocked.
Place is simple, no decor stuff, chairs a bit uncomfortable.
All changed in seconds as Two big doses of Vitela estufada and Cabrito reached the table.
Awesomely cooked, wonderful taste.
No doubt it's a place to keep in mind if you are around.

There are not that many restaurants in Sever do Vouga. As a vegetarian it was a good alternative. The vegetarian Pizza was really good and their home made spicy oil was a Bomb! We tried their chocolate semi-frio as a desert and it was really good.

Vale bem a pena visitar!

To visit our restaurant you will find a welcoming space, with proper care. The dishes are made-up time. You have take away service and Terrace in summer
It's a good enough restaurante to go anytime when you just want something good to eat without go too far for a expensive meal. Friendly service but do not go there without cash as they do not accept cards.

A provar: o melhor leite creme do burgo.
