Had a lovely morning strolling the markets at Redcliffe on a Sunday morning, then decided to have lunch somewhere along the esplanade, there were plenty of eateries to choose from and we settled for the Oasis.
It is a small shop compared to some of the others but has a street Seating area at the front.
Food was very good and so was the service. Meal sizes were bigger than most and we had trouble finishing our whole meal.
I've been to quite a few cafes along this stretch and most are good but also average and exactly what you would expect from busy little cafes.
I did enjoy the Oasis, both service and the food, and I think I would choose this little cafe again over the others.
Prices were very reasonable too, particularly when we saw the portion sizes.
Redcliffe esplanade cafes can be a little pricey for what they offer due to the popularity of this area so I was pleasantly surprised with the Oasis.
Definitely stop by the establishment if you find yourself at the Redcliffe beach and looking for a feed. You wont be disappointed.

It was a really nice dinner, food is really good and the way they present it as well. 130 aud for 2 people dinner, it was worth it. Staff is really nice, kind and easy going. We tried risotto and seafood platter with couple drinks and beautiful desserts specially the creme brûlée :) it was a nice atmosphere, we went on sunday night so it was quiet, we enjoyed it, there is a piano there so I think sometimes theres someone playing it ? I think that happens on saturdays, they had the radio on, was alright however they could have a more adhoc playlist, the only downside was decoration, it was overpacked with xmas deco ... it doesn't look that good considering this is a fine dining restaurant, it makes it look a bit tacky, the surfer santa and the 3 xmas trees, hanging giant stars etc ... plus PLEASE ... loose the paper table cloth, why ? that was a big no, just dont do that to your restaurant

Marcello's Italian restaurant is a family business that opened in Redcliffe in January 1981 It is run by Laura Alesi (wife of Marcello Alesi) and their twin daughters chef Sabrina and front of house manager Valentina. It offers traditional Italian cuisine and amazing house made desserts. Open Monday to Wednesday for lunch and Thursday to Saturday for dinner.
We live in Redcliffe and enjoy our local restaurants several times a week. All provide great food and in most cases quality service.
Several years ago had a rude experience with the owner of the restaurant, and we decided to boycott the venue.
However, about every six months we would relent for one reason or another and attend the restaurant, and on each occasion her attitude to us was quite curt.
Last week will be our last visit. The owner tended our table twice during the evening and here attitude was quite rude. No more.
The young casual staff of mixed experience were full of enthusiasm and charm, and we wish them well.
The food is excellent and good value.
To ensure a good night make sure one of the casual staff wait your table.

We are an authentic Italian restaurant serving traditional and modern cuisine. Pastas, Pizzas, Steak, Seafood, Risottos, Salads and more...with so much to choose from, its hard to have room for delicious coffees & desserts. BYO on the waterfront, come and see for yourself!
Ate at The Rustic Olive on Saturday night with friends. Service was great and the place had a good atmosphere and was popular as there were plenty of patrons. Our meals were delivered promptly and the presentation was excellent. Overall a good experience.Thankyou for your review, Warren. Hope to see you again soon :)

I came back to Redcliffe, reddy kebabs to be exact my favourite spot to get a kebab.... to my surprise there was a new menu which I found rather interesting and I thought, "you know what I'll give it ago" ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED I DID SO. I tried the Turkish chicken burger and that hands down was the best burger I have ever had. My kids shared the open kebab and left the plate sparkling clean. The portion sizes are big and the quality of food is exceptional. The service I received from two young bright and bubbly females was spot on, exactly how I remembered it. I can't wait to bring some friends to try the new menu. Keep up the good work guys it doesn't go unnoticed :)

Contemporary waterfront venue featuring a diverse range of share plates, gourmet burgers & classic housemade dishes. Featuring an eclectic wine list, craft beer & innovative cocktails.
The owner is wonderful, every time we visit he comes for a chat & makes you feel very welcome, he is genuinely interested in making sure you enjoy your visit & the food.
We usually have our little dog with us at Redcliffe & it's nice to know that we will be welcomed at Brick with her too & not refused service as so many of the other places do on the front at Redcliffe & use the excuse that it's Council Regulations when in fact it is the owners choice & there are no Council Regulations preventing dogs being with you.
Thanks to all at Brick for your great service & very good food. We certainly enjoy visiting.

Café 389 is a great spot for morning coffee and breakfast. The new owners (been there about 4 months), are a breath of fresh air. The service is great and the owners will come and chat with you, that is when they are not taking...MoreThank you Sandy

We've been here a few times now but never reviewed so thought we put this right. Unfortunately every time we have been here (5+) for fish and chips whether eat in or takeaway, we've found the fish is overcooked and not the freshest we've experienced on the peninsula. There is a limited choice in the area so we keep going back hoping for improvement but unfortunately there never is. Very disappointing but true. Try Seafood lovers at Margate or Seafood town at Woody Point instead!
