Wine & cocktail bar
More expensive than most other restaurants in the street. Also much better! Excellent pasta, good wine. Single travelers can be seated at the bar, live music. Service sometimes a bit helpless but friendly. Good choice!

Located inside Anika Island Resort. An open air restaurant. Serving the freshest catch of the Island as well as other local and international dishes.
My friends and I decided to have breakfast at Chloe Cafe at Anika Resort and it was worth it. We were actually checked in another hotel and found Anika by chance.

Reading all the other review I was expecting the worst service experience but either we got lucky but it was impeccable. Quick order, quick food and super good à a very good price. It's true that all staff is all behind the bars talking and talking but we got the attention needed without anything to say.... It's Bantayan so chill out since it's a slow pace island

Ale Pasta Basta is a place where you can have breakfast, good quality Italian pizza, pasta dishes, coffee and bread at a very low price when you are in Santa Fe, Bantayan Island few hours from Cebu City. Here you can have handmade pasta prepared by the owner / Italian chef with fantastic sauce. Come and try our authentic rustic Italian Pizza and Pasta!!!
At the moment you will find Ale Pasta Basta left besite of the Chinese Store on the Main road offering only some bread and Takeout. So far we have only tried some croissants and they are quite good, even if they are really small for their price.

We arived for simple breakfist before long day, we saw the pic of the manu outside and we order the name of the dish that was on top - fruit salad, it was sepused to came out with yogurt and musley.
It took about 10 min and its didnt look nothing like the photo. It was mix of fruit&veg with yogurt cone mix with it, and the stuff say that if we want granola/musley it another charge for topping -10 p for realllly small pack- u need at least 4-5 for the salad, we didnt belive that this plain dish cost without any topping 230! With the top- 270!! Its a person big meal in most places... the salad was ok for that i can give 3 star but everything other like the service, the price, will not recomended even though the place looks invated and cute...

This small bakeshop is in the middle of town and is owned by a charming gentleman who also personally bakes the bread and other treats onsite. We were encouraged to try the croissants, albeit early as it runs out by 11am. We got to try the baguettes, as well. Needless to say, the buttery croissants were better than the heavy baguette. They also serve hearty meals and drinks.

Utilizing traditional Mexican cooking philosophy using the freshest local ingredients available on this island paradise. Any dish can be prepared vegetarian or vegan
If you are in Bantayan, you have to try this place. I coud have given them a 5. But ervice has room for improvement. Service could be faster and they forgot utensils for my takeaway.

Pros:
Amazing service - I have to rave about this because of the front desk and servers at their restaurant. Accommodating and always smiling.
Free Breakfast!! Your choice of Filipino or American breakfast. There'd be choices like danggit, longganisa, tapa, tocino, bacon, toast.. etc. All served with eggs, fruit juice of the day, fruit of the day and coffee (instant).
Affordability - a little pricey but delicious. Example: Bought a plate of bacon for breakfast at P150. I expected 3 to 4 strips. I got 10 -12. Not sure, as they were fried to the crisp. Perfect. If you were a couple, an out-of-pocket budget for lunch when you had tinolang manok, yang chow rice, juice, grilled fish and
Cons:
Flies - I can understand that it's an open area, but just to set your expectation, there'd be lots of flies at the dining area. We still ate there because the food was good.

I love the variety of drinks in this place, they offer you a lot of options at the same time the price is very nice. Special mention the Lqiuido's Mojito. It tastes so good. At the same time Bantayan is a very quiet island, I guess this place is one of the best place to chill not too big and not too small very homey. And the best part of this place is it is in the middle of MJ Square, which is surrounded by different business establishment(food, cakes, etc)
