The Legs of Man always offers a huge choice of meals. You always get bread rolls and butter before your meal, whether eating in the bar or the restaurant. The portions are good sizes. The lamb chops with honey sauce are out of this world. The seafood pancake is delicious - could go on. They offer a good priced Sunday Lunch in the wood panelled restaurant. Also - NEVER had a wrong bill here, in all the years we've been going!

A traditional cafe but somehow the decor manages to marry up sophisticated chic with country cottage. The service is outstanding and the food delicious.
Always pay Peppers a visit when in Sandbach. Staff are really friendly, coffee superb but the icing on the cake is the bacon and egg Sandwich. Plenty of bacon, 2 eggs and a very important thing for me, the bread is buttered. Keep up the good work peppers and I'll see you this afternoon.

The food was nice enough, nothing to write home about. Downstairs looks nice from the outside and in, but it's rather small so we had to site upstairs on our own. The alternative was to sit by the door, which wouldn't have been ideal as cold air would have blown in each time the door opened. Upstairs seemed lifeless until we were joined by another couple. I think the Orient needs to up its game taking into account that phanthong has opened up the road.

We arrived very early Friday lunchtime and were seated at the end of a very long table - it seems because we hadn't reserved. Seating seemed quite haphazard anyway as one couple moved themselves several times and a bigger party had to have extra chairs crammed in. The other review from our party of three will have mentioned the cold greeting we got.
This is a lovely building but the kitchen was definitely having a bad day. There is no excuse for poor food and a less than professional attitude to the customer.
I had the quiche (goat's cheese, spinach and sun-dried tomatoes). It arrived with a blackened top which I later realised was spinach leaves. Why would you put spinach leaves on the top of a quiche only to heat them up and burn them? This wasn't really the bone of contention. Some egg had leaked onto the bottom of the quiche and therefore the whole of the bottom crust was burned and the filling itself had therefore become dry and compacted. I did try and explain this as the dish was taken away.
I had a second quiche which wasn't heated so I was able to recognise the spinach leaves ... but because the waiter hadn't understood that I was complaining about the burnt bottom of the quiche the kitchen just didn't heat the next piece which had obviously been taken from the same quiche. So I got cold burnt pastry. I don't even remember sun-dried tomatoes.
We had to wait for over 45 minutes to be served. Whilst we waited nothing seemed to be going on. A table of three near us got enormous plates of fish and chips but it took them rather too long to produce a beef salad, a quiche and a fish pie. On the top of the fish pie you could see the oil coming out of the pale heated grated cheese which obviously could have done with being much hotter. The addition of about 12 small onions to this dish also seemed bizarre, Peas yes ... little onions no.
Timings in the kitchen are not B and P standard.
The gentleman who seemed to be in charge actually challenged the fact that the quiche was burnt. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt in that he did not understand that it was the pastry which was burnt. Even so if he only tasted the filling he should have found even that dry and compacted.
We won't be going again.

This deli is wonderful and the choice of food and wine available is amazing. The owners always make customers really welcome with a coffee or juice while you browse. They have always done superb take away meals and cakes 'to die for'. In the last few months they have had an extension to the premises which houses the 'Eatery'. This a quite small area extremely tastefully furnished and there is a good choice on the menu. You can also choose food from the deli if you prefer. It is just the place for a decent coffee with a friend or for a romantic meal out. I would thoroughly recommend it to all.
If you want something a little bit different in the food and drink line, a special "foodie" present for someone or just to treat yourself to some delicious olives or sweet meats then pay a visit. They do have small eatery here too, although I haven't tried that, but if it serves ( which it does) some of the fresh food on display then it must be good. Lots of wines, beers and spirits to choose from if you want something a bit different from, bargain basement.
Olives and freshly prepared salads are excellent.

A former coaching inn built in 1890, The Wheatsheaf in Hightown, Sandbach has been acquired by The Pear Family, who own Pecks Restaurant in Congleton. The Pears have breathed new life into the historic building. Following an extensive refurbishment and restoration, The Wheatsheaf in Sandbach has become 'A Quintessentially British Gastropub'. We aim to make the Wheatsheaf your regular haunt, appreciated for outstanding food quality, great beers, wines, cocktails, friendly engaging service, and perhaps most importantly, superb value for
Stayed here on a stopover halfway between Glasgow and Swansea, and couldn't have picked a better place.
Forget the Travel Lodge / Inn's etc directly on the M6 - this is in a BEAUTIFUL town, with lots of history, and tons of lovely original pubs and restaurants nearby.
There's also plenty of small fast food places if you don't fancy a big dinner.
The hotel has been open less than 2 years, and is top quality inside. Beautiful rooms - we were in room 7. I'd go as far as saying 5 star. Lovely staff. Didn't use the hotel restaurant however I'd be surprised if it wasn't every bit as good. Highly recommended!!

Lovely bright and large restaurant area. Had chicken and lamb curries, and both were outstandingly tender. Quite busy on the evening we went, but service was still efficient and swift. The lady managing the bar and serving the drinks was particularly 'on the ball'. There's a small car park opposite, and plenty of street parking nearby. All in all, a super evening was had. Thank you.

Interiors ▪ Gardens ▪ Gifts ▪ Coffee Lounge ▪ Children’s Cinema & Play Area ▪ Online ShopMiola opened on the 28th may 2012 featuring a fully licenced coffee lounge serving hot and cold food throughout the day.We have a kid’s cinema and playroom and our extensive range of home furnishings.
We called in whilst out for a walk with friends. The interior exceeds expectations, it is warm, cosy, decorative and imaginative. The log fire was very welcome on a frosty morning. The staff were welcoming and friendly. A good range of options were available on the menu. We opted for the breakfast and bacon and brie. The tea and coffee arrived promptly and was very good. The food arrived and was well presented, plentiful and very tasty. The toilet facilities are limited with just one toilet available for all. It is disable friendly. The bill came and it worked out at around £10 per person which I felt was reasonable for the overall experience.

This is the second time I have been to Raffaeles and I am not disappointed. The food is amazing (particularly the pizza!) it’s probably the closest I’ve had to authentic Italian food outside of Italy. And the service is brilliant- lovely staff. A special place that I’ll definitely be returning too.
