The cuisine is focused on regional products and fragrances , with a particular emphasis on organic food and the consciousness of our territory's richness.
We stayed 5 nights in Poggio ai Santi and uniquely for us ate in the house restaurant Il Sale every night - it was that good! Chef Denny Bruci imposes his personality on the food, the wine and the entire experience. Nothing is too much trouble - You don't like this?, you prefer it cooked that way? why don't you try it like this? Chef Denny takes the order at every table and creates a masterpiece every evening! There are always new special dishes and you could never tire of eating at Il Sale.

This beautiful sea front location offers spectacular sunsets as a back drop to unique and delicious dinner choices. I had a simple pasta with planchette and cherry tomatoes. My wife had octopus with potatoes and cherry tomatoes. The wait staff spoke English and German as well as Italian . All were anxious to help us enjoy our meal. They succeeded. We loved it. Bravissimo serendipity!

You could easily miss this little family-run restaurant on the outskirts of San Vincenzo - but find it if you can. The steaks are cooked in front of you in the restaurant and are truly delicious. The service was also really friendly and helpful in guiding us through the different cuts of meat. Sadly we ran out of time otherwise would definitely have returned.

Mariva is a relative newcomer to San Vincenzo and has upped the standard of the area. It is nestled in the woods between Villa de Stefano and San Vincenzo. One part beach club (daily entry available for private chaise "oasis" hidden among the mediterranean scrub just steps from a sandy beach.) One part restaurant/bar, providing stunning modern decor that embraces the bountiful nature of the site by using glass walls and sleek wood. There is a charming boardwalk effect outside that is perfect for a romantic stroll before or after dinner. Seating is indoor or outdoor, but one never feels closed in thanks to the restaurants large scale and generous use of glass. Food is well crafted and heavy on local seafood. The wine list is top notch and staff well informed. Our hosts, Antonino and Cristiana Tringali-Casanuova suggested Villa Matilde Falenghina white and Renzo, Bolgheri Rosso Superiore from Tringali-Casanuva.

The small piles of white and blue bathroom Neptune restaurant with its large windows overlooking the sea opposite the Islands of the Tuscan Archipelago (Elba and Capraia) offering each evening the spectacle of a gorgeous sunset.
Enjoyed some great food in a nice atmosphere a couple of years ago. Now staff is rude, include their tip in the bill in advance and i will therefore refrain from visiting this place again. Very un Italian. We deeply regret for the inconvenient occurred during the past management. From April 2017 the owners and a new staff will be pleased to welcome you in a nice atmosphere, with new suggestions from our menu. Please come and see us again. You’ll not regret.

Osteria Al Braciere is located onthe property of Costa Etrusca Farm House. In the summer its tables are located outside, in one of the most panoramic Gardens of Costa Etrusca, with a gorgeous view of San Vincenzo and the nearby Islands. Each particular aspect of this restaurant makes it a unique place: its handmade tables, the aromatic plants that surround them, the rose bushes, the olive trees, and the country scent that mixeswith the salty air coming from the sea. So this makes it not only a good country restaurant but also a spot that fascinates and cheers you up, that finds a little place in your heart. Our trip in Tuscan tastes starts with hors d'oeuvreswith salted meats, cheese and toastedbread with savories and continues with homemade fresh pasta and soups, and gets to its end with the home specialty, the several kinds of meat, grilled in the big barbecue (braciere) placed close to the tables. Nonetheless, we also have some fish courses and several vegetarian courses, like our tasty Tuscan soups, several kinds of pasta, vegetable flans, cheese, etc. Moreover, if you inform us ahead of time, our restaurant will be pleased to respond to the needs of particular diets, like the vegan, vegetarian and celiacones. Our wine list offers very good Tuscan reds, with particular attention toward the local Val di Cornia and Bolgheri D.O.C. When the weather does not allow us to serve meals in the garden, they are served in the restaurant's country style dining room, which has a big fireplace, and a cozy atmosphere. Our restaurant offers "a la carte" service, Half Board service and Full Board service. We also prepare take-away lunches for the beach of for day-trips.
We visited San Vincenzo for the last few days of a 24 day visit to Italy. We picked this restaurant for our last meal out because all of the Trip Advisor reviews were so amazing. It came up Number 2 in San Vincenzo
We had previously visited Sardinia, Pisa, Lucca, Vicopisano, Florence, San Gimingano, Siena etc and sampled local cuisines and a range of different restaurants and we felt that this was the restaurant to finish our tour
We understood before we visited that it was a restaurant with no menu and everybody got served the same food. What we didn't expect was to arrive to give our name to be nodded to a table and to hardly have any contact with anyone for the rest of the evening. Understandably not having to pick what you are eating takes away the client waiter contact to order the food etc
There were 3 people serving and I would estimate about 60+ people eating so they were completely rushed off their feet. The tables were very close together in a very dimly lit garden Terrace, there were a large number of families with very young children seated all around. There were also a large number of tables with dogs. We were asked very quickly what water we wanted and if red or white wine, our teenage children ordered a beverage.
Like all the courses during the evening, the antipasta was delivered with no explanation to what we were being served, however this was the best course by far and was very good, a ham of some kind and roasted vegetables with some kind of cheese.
We were then subsequently served a cheese pasta that was very peppery and not especially appealing followed by the main course of a meat stew. This consisted of various meets, the beef was very succulent but the other meats (we think pork and Turkey or chicken) were very dry, I am sure it is very hard to serve this kind of stew with all the meats cooked to an acceptable consistency. We were then all offered a number of desserts.
The only proper conversation that we had all evening was with a young lady about the resident ginger cat! Although this was very nice I would have preferred that someone welcomed us to the restaurant and spoke us through the various courses etc
The fact that you have no menu means that they surely should introduce each course and explain to the table what you are eating. Not only were we sitting in a very dark area, we were totally in the dark as to what we were eating all evening
I can understand the concept of the restaurant and how it has had some good reviews and I can only assume that it was during a time when the restaurant was less busy and had more staff so that the client could better appreciate what the restaurant was trying to achieve, Unfortunately for us it didn't work.

Gelateria Artigianale.Qui il gelato e fatto artigianalmente con prodotti di altissima qualita.
I think we came here most evenings for a gelato after dinner, having been recommended as the best place! Especially loved the dark chocolate but all flavours were fab.

I was just back from a three months trip in theUS when I was brought here by a friend. Of course I had a burger and it was a great one! They are far from being genuinely American burgers. The bred used is sometimes crusty...MoreGrazie, sei stato molto gentile!!!!!!

Came across this restaurant by chance, happened to be walking into town and saw it and thought I would give it a try.
On the coast I like to eat looking at the sea. Sometimes this comes at a price, and sometimes the quality isn't so good.
So this restaurant is close to the sea, but not close enough to see the sea. So the food then has to be good, and it was. I went there for two meals! 1st lunch day one, I was the only one there. The food was good and the staff very friendly. Day two, for dinner, the restaurant was very busy and the food was even better.
Mind you I ate seafood both days, and I thought the price was very reasonable for the quality.
Would go back if I was there.

Solid place, worth going a bit out of your way. Sandwiches or burgers, this place uses tasty spices and oils and has some quality ingredients. Mix it up! Add some extra cheese or toppings to your burger. Nom!
